Beautiful Prague. RIP MCHAEL.

As stated earlier, filmed in Prague still in the days of communism. The cemetery where the sax player is playing is in the Jewish Cemetery that dates back to the early 1400's. The city is incredible, and the video is brilliant.

I still have INXS: KICK-the video fick on VHS. It has all the videos from that album and some behind the scenes footage. I’ve loved them since middle school, when I was 12 and that album came out. ❤️

INXS was Australia's top export for years. This is a beautiful song. Co-written Michael Hutchence (lead singer) and Andrew Farris (piano).

Michael Hutchence, one of the great voices in rock music. He figured it out. He had a fantastic range but kept it all very controlled and stylised. When he let it go, it was like a brief amazing drum-fill. As a result, his voice never suffered any wear and tear and it remained consistent, rich and powerful throughout his entire career.

New Sensation is the song you need to listen to in order to get the full experience of Michael Hutchence’s voice. It’s more of a pure rock song with one of most danceable guitar grooves ever put to tape. His voice is so rich and thick, so it’s often deceptive how high he’s singing. There’s an official live video of the song shot at Wembley Stadium, and it’s amazing. At one point, he hits an A, but you would never know it because it sounds like he’s still in his chest voice. KICK is as fresh today as the day it was recorded in 1986/87. Andrew Farriss is the master.

Michael had a great voice and could also ROCK. Suggest INXS with Jimmy Barnes, doing " Good Times "......live of course. 2 great singers rocking the house down.

It's fascinating watching women do a first time reaction to this song - there always seems to be a bit of a "glimmer" in their eyes when Michael appears. ;)

An absolute fabulous band. My wife and I were fortunate to see them in a small venue at the beginning of their KICK album tour. Within a month they were playing in large stadiums in front on tens of thousands of people. I've seen most of the iconic bands and INXS was the finest musical ensemble I've ever seen, the musicianship was brilliant. Michael Huchence was one of the most magical frontman ever to set foot on stage. Great great band.

One of the best ballads ever! Beautiful song, filmed in beautiful Prague! INXS were one of the biggest bands in the world at this time. 20+ years of brilliant songs to check out. What You Need, New Sensation and Original Sin are a few of my favourite songs. Oh and INXS are always best live! Especially from Wembley Stadium concert in 1991!

I'd recommend you check out their live performances from Wembley Stadium in 1991, particularly New Sensation (for high energy) and What You Need (for audience interaction).

Yeah Michael had the looks the ladies and young girls loved, and he was one of the top singers who had plenty of charisma.

I always bring this up about Michael Hutchence, but I find it fascinating: Check out the register he is actually singing in, I think you'll be surprised. He sounds so relaxed and comfortable and his timbre is so open and warm, but he is actually singing quite high. It's incredible that the ear is fooled to believe he's in a lower register because of how warm and full his voice sounds.

I actually like a couple of songs from INXS earlier album being the album “The Swing “ first being the title track, the second being “Original Sin” , actually it is one of my favourite albums by this band. Great to see an Australian band being featured…

The lead singer had a bit of tragic life. He ended up hanging himself in 1997.

Tragically died in a tug accident.
