Beautiful. They all did so good. But my heart literally melts when I hear Dan. I don’t even have to see him to know his voice. Beautiful.

There's something about his voice that makes it so distinctive from others. I'm not sure what it is, a certain richness or fullness that can be heard. Maybe a voice coach could explain it.❤❤

Exactly, the minute he starts, you know.
i don't know who directed that. but the arrangment is spot on. a low voice with intense subharmonics on the first verse, in a serious tone to sing about the majesty of love. A wailing and emotional voice for the innocent and pure love to later be overwhelmed by an aggressive passion and a sighing "Hallelujah" the bombastic voice in the 3rd part, facing loneliness with familiarity and love with defiance. 4th part attributed to the softest and meekest voice, for the contemplative side of love, reminiscing, asking about routine and what's unsaid. 5th part with a more familiar voice, less unique, for a broken man, moving on from love. This is great. i've paid 30 bucks to see opera singers trying to sing this and failing at giving all the emotions it implies. and these 5 friends have nailed it magnificently. i am very impressed at their performance.
Thomas surprised the hell out of me when i first heard this. I knew he had a little singing in him, didn't know he had it in him. I want a full cover of this song by him.

Thomas has his own musical out that he and his friends went on tour with. He's also preformed in many musicals including Heather's. He has cover songs and a few originals as well one of my favorites being "recipe of me". There's also a lot of songs that came out of his popular (and rather amazing) series here on KZread called "sander sides". I highly recommend everyone check it out if you haven't already

As had probably been very well covered by other commenters: Thomas is a musical theater nerd more than anything. I believe he started out wanting to be a stage actor, but Vine just kinda took him in his whole own direction. But musical theater is truly what's in his performer heart, and I think with the right opportunities he'd take that over youtube in a heart beat.
Dan Vasc with his unmistakable, unique, beautiful voice ❤️ is my favorite. All participants have great voices. Successful collaboration. 👍.
Dan Vasc hat für mich die beste und schönste Stimme. ❤

sorry, i don't really speak german, but i understand it, so i want to share this with you: i agree. he had the hardest part of this song. in the first part, love so innocent and pure, sung so softly it's almost a sigh. and the second part, being overtaken by an aggressive and abusive love, ending with a broken "Hallelujah". it was a hard part, most singers don't manage to sing this song that well, but those five scored a 10/10. and Dan vasc had the hardest part of it. ^^
Yes that would be Dan Vasc for me.
Dan sounds so theatric! As a theater kid I love it!
Colm McGuinness is an amazing singer (and these days, instrumentalist). I think that he was the first singer in this. Until relatively recently, he'd do acapella covers where, like Geoff, he would layer himself multiple times. Usually 3 of himself singing together. One high, one middle, and one low... and his low notes are absolutely killer! Lots of stuff from shows and games, but also traditional songs from the British Isles. Heck, he's done Misty Mountains in Dwarven @_@ You really need to look into more of his works! Another one who does multi-layered covers of songs is Jarred Halley, who'll sometimes have upwards of twenty cameras going at once. He did a really great job with Hooked on a Feeling.

His Khuzdul songs are absolutely amazing
Dan is the man!
this is a beautiful cover, the harmonies are very well done! was glad to see Dan Vasc among the mix!
In my opinion, this is one of the most beautiful Cohen songs and I was lucky enough to hear him perform it live once. I think everyone had tears in their eyes and he got standing ovations. I always hoped that Dan would sing it one day. That's why I'm particularly pleased that he was part of this collaboration. Although I also like the bass singers - Dan has the most charisma on this song and conveys the most emotion. Thanks for reacting.

I love Dan Vasc's beautiful range and the power that he brings is incredible. Such emotion on a person who can truly connect to other's emotions. I absolutely love his one person choir singing Hallelujah!! I listen to it all the time. And. Of course, his Bohemian Rhapsody and The Sound of Silence, which sounds just like Disturbed's cover.
Thomas. The controlled quiver in his voice made the song that bit more emotional. I might be a bit buis but it's hime for the third guy. The range with those together is just amazing
React to Colm McGuinness hoist the colours. He is a bass singer. He is insane.
So beautiful. Like Dan Vasc part most, so creative. 🔥
Of the five, it's always going to be Jonathan for me but I couldn't have dreamed of a better collaboration for all my favorites to work on. Every one of them put so much power and emotion into it that they break your heart and put it back together again at the end when their voices all come together. Simply magnificent.
Nice reaction, Dave! These five do a great job! Wouldn't it be cool to hear a full version of this song from Dan?
What a beautiful version this guys did AWSOME, THANKS DAVE💝
Dan Vasc is so incredibly creative in his style with a great vocal range. I listen to him regularly. He wraps himself into every song he sings and delivers himself to his audience all the time.
Perfection! What a wonderful rendition of this song this is the best I ever heard!! These men, solo and harmonize so beautifully !! I love their Techniques! I got Add goosebumps Throughout the whole song Just breath taking thank you
The first one singing here was Colm btw, not Jonathan, so with what you said at the end, that Jonathan has the deepest voice out of all of them, that isn't really true when Colm got added into the mix 😆

I fricken live for that final chorus we’re they all sung together
They all sound amazing, but Thomas surprised me the most, to be honest. Gorgeous!
I think Dan was singing the melody in the group chorus at the end. Beautiful job by all five. I'd happily listen to a solo by any of them, but I really really wish that Dan would do it.
Dan just stands out! Thanks for your lovely reactions alwyays!
If you like low singing, go check out Colm McGuinness, he does music covers and original songs.
I don't know if you've reacted to it, but if you liked Thomas here you'll like his Friends On The Other Side cover.
Another fun Caleb Hyles collab if you haven’t heard it yet is his cover of the Wellerman
I love this cover! So much talent and skill in one song.
should react to jonathan youngs "Army of Tigers" he recently put out a music video for it and it one of my favs of his originals
damn, this made me cry...
That reaction to Colm McGuinness...I saw it coming, but still...
just stumbled on this beautiful rendition today; and went to check your reaction when it came up in the feed, as i always enjoying hearing what you have to say. posters on the original channel noted that the song was both spiritual and sexual depending on which of the many verses, or the ease of varying interpretations. one commenter said the following, which i found interesting: "After listening so many times, I realized that every verse shows different approaches to a break-up. Colm: disappointed indifference and a lack of interest Dan: liberation from suffering and standing strong Jonathan: seeing that his relationship changed nothing and that love is not all sunshine and rainbows, in fact it has many drawbacks Thomas: reminiscent on the best parts of the relationship and upset that the good times ended Caleb: pessimistic and seeing love as a waste of time"
hahaha knew u were gonna like colms verse on this, first time i heard it i thought to myself "Daves gonna like this man" LMAO
When do we get to hear you sing?!
Try Hallelujah with Tommy Johansson, guitar player of Sabaton. When you hear it, you can't believe he is only a backup- singer in Sabaton
You should really check out colm mcguinness if you like bass singing
Colm never disapoints
All the verses actually represent the reactions to divorce or heart break that last one with him fixing his bow tie his verses are how love is a waste of time
Very simple, very beautiful. Great reaction, and do you want to pull out your app and figure out what note you just hit?? Tomi just released a cover of Avi Kaplan songs with Ese Sayin as well, so you’re going to have a bassy weekend!!
i can only sing the lowest bass not when i'm sick. so whenever I'm sick i do it.
Not sure if you've ever reacted to or listened to Marc Martel but you should. He sings this and his Bohemian Rhapsody is very good. He covers alot of Queens songs
I'm not sure which singer it was but the last guy... WOW. I scour the internet for covers of this song that have HEART and the real emotion behind it. They were all amazing but the last singer brought me to tears Bravo.
