Patton’s resistance to getting to know Nico is so heartbreaking, it shows that there’s still emotional damage that they have to overcome from the “Nostalgia” series and it’s so sad to see him try to be happy for Thomas while still struggling with those same emotional burdens.

Ok ok ok…theory time: after the five year anniversary video I went back and rewatch the other intrusive thoughts video (the one about nico) and noticed the shade of orange in Logan’s eye when he felt ignored. We all saw the orange on the chair and the anti spoiler spray…thus begun my research. I began to look into the colour orange and found many meanings depending on the shade. The colour orange we all know is the colour of a pilon or a construction workers vest, hence the thought of Thomas/Logan needing more attention. However orange within the hue of red can also represent anger, decitfulness, untrustworthiness, desire, passion and aggression. Now to add colour theory, we all know our primary colours (red, blue and yellow) but we also have our secondary colours (green, purple and orange). On a colour wheel each secondary colour is in between their corresponding primary colour (red+yellow=orange). But we also have opposite colours (red=green, yellow=purple and blue=orange). So to begin we now know that Roman (red) and Remus (green) were once just one side, hence my theory is that Logan is not just one but 2 sides without his knowledge. The side of orange could represent aggression or desire which would completely work against logic/knowledge hence the opposite colour theory. And to add to that we already have a set (maybe even 2 if you look hard enough) of opposite colours who do know get along -Roman and Remus (and Virgil *purple* and Janus *yellow*). I feel as if the orange side represents impulsiveness or atleast plays a part in it, since we have seen Logan act outside his usual lines, like in the puppets episode he threw the paper at Puppet Roman without thinking, and the whole scene of him with the orange eyes in WITI. I doubt the orange side will 100% represent impulsiveness, but I atleast hope it gets partly included. It'd make sense being the counterpart of Logan who's so well calculated and loves consistency without acting out of line

I love this though I saw on something else that if it where the opposite of Logan then it may be slightly kiddish or the opposite or reason anger though I like the color theory but orange is also used for fire which itself is unorganized again the opposite of of logic and reason (which plays into the impulse you talked about) I am so excited to see how Thomas make this but at the end he was kinda obvious to the orange (could be foreshadowing or nothing)

Seeing this series go on for five years is incredible to me This series really helped me deal with anxiety and intrusive thoughst when growing up and I’m still growing to this day. I want to thank Thomas and crew for giving me soemthing nostalgic and nice to look back at every once in a while

Nothing brings me more joy than the fact that remus and janus were playing just dance together before they were revealed

When I first started watching sanders sides, I started talking to myself, in the kind of way Thomas talks to his sides. At first of course, it was more of a joke, or a fan thing, but as time grew, I started openly communicating with myself. I've learned so much, and I genuinely believe it's helped me grow as a person, to understand how I think and why I act the way I do. This series is honestly a life changer, and I'm so excited to see what's next! :D

I think it's because Janus wants the audience to see who these new Sides are during their first viewing, like how we didn't know Janus was disguised poorly as Patton, Remus is the type of person who will spoil anything, reminds me of Mark Ruffalo and Tom Holland who have let spoilers out to the point Marvel has to have someone with Holland to keep him from spoiling an upcoming Marvel film he's in

What if the orange symbolizes the coming of another side? We've seen the dark side of morality: deceit. We've seen the dark side of creativity: intrusive thoughts. What if we see a dark side spawn from Logan? I know Janus can represent both Logan *AND* Patton but the dark side of logic might be fun. Maybe this one could either join forces with Janus and Remus or cause the two to put aside their differences with the other sides to help Thomas combat the dark side of Logic. ... Annnnd I went on a tangent. My apologies.

(if you haven't seen it go look at it before spoilers get thrown your way :D) (yes im about to get into detail of the sanders asides episode Working Through Intrusive Thoughts, watch the movie before you get any spoilers, if you don't care then go ahead hehe :D) i do think perhaps the orange is in fact the opposite of logan, because again working through intrusive thoughts logan gets irritated at remus because he wouldn't listen to him, and we see logan suddenly yell (which we've seen him lash out multiple times before, i.e. when he threw the paper at roman, when he continuously shouted "FALSEHOOD!" at the others, etc.) but this is different his eyes then proceed to emanate an orange hue, they're glowing orange basically SO THE THEORY THIS ORANGE SIDE COULD BE THE OPPOSITE OF LOGAN IS ACTUALLY NOT TOO FAR OFF 😳✋

The way everyone looks at Remus at the whole happy 5th anniversary part is hilarious to me, Janus looks disgusted which is surprising considering the fact they live together

Logan is definitely my kinnie after the wine glasses scenes, would totally drink with him just to hear all the things he has to deal with being totally the mom

Here’s something to think about Roman created himself and all the others

Virgil being the embodiment of “sounds happy but really dark lyrics” is hilarious

Can we just appreciate Thomas's acting skills?? In all five years, even in the earliest of episodes, it never felt like some dude switching costumes. Between the costumes and the little nuanced differences in voice and personality, it always felt like 5+ different closely related people.
