Sohyang is a very sweet person, very humble and loving. You can see that on her interviews. She can also be really funny. She gave an interview after King of mask Singer and it was hilarious.

She practiced hundreds of times and lay down for a few days after the performance. It's like a stage that burned everything. Singing live with a soft body for 7 minutes and 16 seconds is touching and amazing.

Sohyang is private about her childhood, her parents divorce must have hurt very much however she's openly honest about her life now, her love for her family and people around the world, so much information she shares of her life journeys and faith that guides her to comfort others, she's an angel on earth...

@@hossetttren253 Apparently yes, though it seems they are not very close, nor with her father. She never elaborates on it but it is likely due to their divorce when she was still a high school student.

Thank You for you Terrific Reaction video! Your video’s are very entertaining, I enjoy them immensely! Actually SoHyang did not Write this song! The author was Yoon Bok-Hee, who use to perform it often in the Churches in S. Korea years ago! SoHyang did do the arrangement with her team! The original is slower , still very good but SoHyang just takes song to the next levels, treating them with respect but making it hers! As she most often does! She knows how to bring you the message and the , Emotion of the songs she Performs! She said there was a period of time where she felt she was so concerned about , Perfect vocal’s that she felt the emotion and message were suffering , so she made adjustments! She use to sing every song she was to Perform, 100 times before the Concert. She still might but she works on the emotional delivery more now pushing it to the limit she can do with out breaking down herself in the Performance! As you saw she was so close to losing it completely in this song! She has no fear in her Performances and often takes chances and does the song the more or most difficult way, and seemingly with ease! She is 43 and still getting better in my opinion! She is a Hidt and she care for all of us and wants us to be at ease and feel good even if it take tears to clear the way! Thank you Again ! Yoon Hang-Gi was a rock band singer, song writer, actor and later became a pastor. Yoon Hang-Gi wrote this song to comfort his sister, Yoon Bok-Hee when she was going through rough time and was in despair.

@@troymin4226 Troy, Thank you for correcting me ! I heard her sing this a couple years back after becoming curious about the song after a SoHyang reaction of , “Everyone”. I had looked her up on google and later watched a couple live Performances! She came up as the original Artist so I mistakenly though she was the writer! Just listened to it a couple times again! I still like SoHyang’s version better but Yoon Bok-her, also sings it with great conviction and Emotion and I really did enjoy her version a great deal! Her Brother wrote a Great song and it will be around forever as a classic of Love and Hope! I see Her whole Family were very Talented! Don’t want to take up to much of your time, once again Thank you!

@@tomsawyer2768 Hi Tom, it is good to see Sohyang has a hardcore fan like you. I have known of Sohyang since she started to sing in Christian circle. I participated as a camera operator in one of the concerts she sang. She could still hit high notes but her singing was somewhat rough. I did not like her singing that much back then. As she matured, her vocal skills and abililty to deliver the message of songs matured. She started to connect and communicate with her audience way better. It is good to see fans from all over the world enjoy her performances. Thank you.

They rod and thy staff they comfort me. Now her translation said in the English part, yeah tho I walk through the valley of shadows. Then the part that says I will be your cane, where in the Bible it says rod and staff, but cane is the Asian version of a staff.
