This is a reaction video to Prince and the New Power Generation performing "Play That Funky Music/Hollywood Swinging/Fantastic Voyage" live at the Forum on April 28, 2011. Unbelievable guitar and bass solo by Prince.

The 🐐...plain & simple. ☔💜
There are so many awesome performances from this genius. Its difficult to pick just one.
You wanna see Prince cover one of his influences on guitar then react to Santana Medley (live) - Prince & The NPG

Hi Kickinthescience ... Hmmm, that sounds like an interesting medley. May need to be my next Prince reaction. Thanks for the suggestion and rock on ... 😎✌
Funk face Prince always has his funk face. This version of the New Power Generation is Johnny Blackwell on Drums Ida Nelisen on Bass Morris Hayes, Ranato Neto and Cassandra O'Neil on keys Shelby J, Elisa Dease, Liv Warfield vocals Maya and Nady McClean or the Twinz
One of the best reactions to this song!

Hi Dr George … Thank you for the compliment. Much appreciated! 😎✌️
Prince and Ida Nielsen are two of the most funky bass players ever!
I love your face during this. You are so into it. Yes Prince makes me tired just watching him. This is an encore so he’s probably been up there over 2 hours, probably 3. I was lucky to see him twice -2004 and 2011.

The ones who saw Him are blessed. I was Fortunate to see Him 13 times …Best moments of my life No one touches Prince 💜🙌🏻👏🏻
Great chair dancing!
This is way later than the New Power Generation but still fantastic and when a new and powerful generation.(drummer of all times..rip) And the base peacocking is so telling for Prince..groove is the base and takeout peakocks is easy..but peakocks make life beautiful and coulorful!
You should check out Prince’s performance of Kiss from the Rave Un2 the Year 2000 concert film. They start the song with a double bass solo with Prince and Larry Graham. 🔥

Hi Ernest … What Prince does as a 3rd encore most bands can’t do as their main show. He was special! 😎✌️

@@drivingwithtodd1781 this was an encore…Most of the time He played for 3 hours and I was blessed to be part of that and He said good night and went across the city or to another City and played again in a smaller venue like a bar or cafe and played for another 3 hours No one comes even remotely close to the Greatest Musician I ever laid eyes on.
