Got to agree I've tried to pick a starting 11 playing this formation and it isn't possible , does however show where the squad is lacking , id punt so many of them in the summer .

It was thrown away against the dross of the league in rapid succession because this side struggles to deal with latter season pressure. This must be foremost in Clement's thinking when he stamps his mark on the squad; we need backbone.

My first Rangers game at ibrox was 1982 and the crowd was 8000, I just dont feel any attachment to those players in our stripes , we had sandy clark, dave mckinnon , bobby russell and then Coisty is 83 , at least these lads played for jerseys .......

Silva never a Rangers player. Lundstram should never pull on a Rangers shirt again, nor should Barisic or Tavernier. Clement has a huge job to rebuild this squad.

Striker wasn't the problem today. It was Lundstram first and his performance, he wrecked our chances. Followed by a really poor couple of CB's and overall poor defence. Had it not been for Butland we would have been destroyed. We were totally dominated 2nd half, except the last 10 mins. Terrible. Clement has to shoulder some of the blame as well. Raskin should be in this side. He actually gave Mgregor a challenge and was tidy with his passing.

Think we need to accept we're just not good enough to challenge a fairly poor version of celtic head on at the moment and may come up short for a while at this rate. We cant replace the whole squad this year with multiple signings, expecting them to click right away and consistently challenge. This will take time, this will take a sensible rebuild, it will take patience over a few windows with Clement getting the time. I dont think we have that in the fan base tho as the demands are incredibly high and rightly so but if we're going to get back ontop, consistently beating them and winning trophies we need to plan and build properly over a few seasons as painful as that may be. In the here and now big Phil will need to throw something different at celtic in tactics and team selection if we are to have any chance of winning the cup double, more of the same sht will just give us more of the same sht. Big decisions ahead for clement in the coming weeks.
