Taeyeon & Tiffany's voices are very complementary. Taeyeon smoothly slides up to a note while Fanny has to upshift a few times to get there. Hard work has made Tiffany a good singer. Tae was born with a special gift. Their personalities are actually very similar to their singing styles. The laid back South Korean & The Loud American make a hell of a duo.

Sadly I had already watched her Killing Voice (numerous times) before I decided to really focus on reacting. However, I did love that video! I still go back to it at least once a month.

Tiffany's solos are impressive, a lot of vocal power from her, she has solo debut in sm (2016), and solo debut in USA after leaving sm (2017-2018)

I agree that Girls’ Generation has some of the strongest vocals in KPop girl groups. In my opinion, even the sub vocalists in the group would be a lead or even a main vocalist in 3rd and 4th generation groups.

Thank you! I found it by going to the album. I think when I searched previously, my mistake was searching for "Taeyeon Tiffany lost in love". I don't know why I didn't think to search under "Girls' Generation" lol.

GirlsGeneration a perfect combination of voices is so true. 😍 They are the most balanced group in Kpop actually

SNSD's Engine Room Nice Reaction Lad

Your not wrong, SNSD do have some of the best vocalists in Kpop. There are a very few girl groups that might rival them, mostly older 1st gen groups like S.E.S. but in terms of newer groups the only one that comes to mind is Mammamoo. In terms of boy groups with great vocals, you should definitely check out EXO. Another SM group where the company put some really strong vocalists into. Anyway excited to see you get into the groups solo stuff, curious to see which sounds you'll like. Oh! And if you want to hear more of Tiffany's vocals in particular, would love to see you react to her Christmas concert special with Vogue Korea. She recently started work on in musicals and her vocals have matured further, which the Vogue concert especially showcases. I've only heard "Dreams Come True" by S.E.S., but I really should check out more of their songs as well. Mamamoo is a group I've been meaning to check out and know they are close to SNSD in terms of vocals, I'm exited to hear them. EXO is another group that's been on my list. Honestly, I decided a few weeks ago that I want to check out all of SM's groups lol. I've enjoyed everyone that I've heard thus far. Do you have any specific recommendations on where to start with EXO? Thank you for the link! I'll definitely add it to my list. I'm hoping to start checking out solo work next week. Tiffany is a member that I've been noticing more and more with recent videos, and I definitely want to hear more.

I think I heard many times of it, where people saying that SNSD is the best in terms of vocal. But, even though I really like SNSD, I can't firmly confirm that statement because I'm only watch SNSD. Yes, I'm playing some another songs from another group. But I'm never really paying attention to the details like I do to SNSD. So, I have nothing to compare and confirm that statement. Even sometimes, I think it's just a biased opinions. It's really common when a fans claim that their fav is the best. But, even though without comparison with another group. You can tell that their vocal is one of the best when you experience their live. And on top of that, they had 9 members (8 right now), which more than usual. That makes you need more control (harder) when doing a harmonization.

I do believe that SNSD together with Mamamoo are the strongest vocal group because if you'll think about it. A lot of artists are way stronger than Taeyeon but they don't have other members to back it up to be called as "vocal group". Hyolyn, Eunji, Luna, Solji are way better vocalist than Tae but since Tae have back ups (sica,tiff, seo and sunny) you can easily hear it from their songs that they are vocally oriented group same as Mamamoo where all can really sing. You can't consider a vocal group if 1 or 2 members only are standout vocalist. That's the reason why I think Twice (no hate here pls) as for example on not as strong vocal group because Jihyo is the only standout. I do appreciate Jeongyeon and Nayeon's voices but they are on the average side as a vocalist.

@@mondragonfly8560 Yeah, I saw it too. I read many comments that say Mamamoo is one of the best in term of vocals. That makes me interesting enough to see their live stage MR removed. And yeah, they are absolutely amazing. But I have a little disagree with your opinion that says Taeyeon is not better than them. Since I don't ever see another person who can sing "live" so good and dancing to a hard choreography at the same time. And Taeyeon prove it in "Into The New World". Also Taeyeon prove herself without a backup vocals by her solo songs. And her solo live stage always impressed me. But I respect your opinion. Just sharing my thought.

@@ezteco4899 there are a lot of vocal coach here in YT mentioning about "best vocalist" in kpop and talking about terminologies that I myself know nothing about since I'm not a vocal coach and it mentioned about range, power, agility , resonance, etc. And if I'm not mistaken. Ailee, hyoyln, luna, solji and i forgot the other solo artist putting Tae at #6. I'm a sone for 13yrs now and saw a hundreds vids of them performing. Not sure if you already watched tae and sunny covering ma boy and u can clearly hear tae struggling hitting hyolyn's notes. I also respect your opinion but it's clearly biased since you only heard snsd's side and not the other main vocalist from 2nd gen.

But I can guarantee you that when I'm trying to give an opinion, I'm not giving a biased opinion. As you can see in my first comment, even though I like SNSD. I never agree when I saw a comment that say that they are is the best in term of vocals. Even I think that was a biased opinion. So, it's pure my opinion.

Oh absolutely, I understand I'm definitely speaking from a biased position. I always try to make sure that I clarify it's just my opinion, but I don't think I made it as clear in this video. I just haven't come across another group where all the members fit so well together, vocally, but I am relatively new to K-pop so my opinion is also limited to that. Seeing Mamamoo mentioned, it definitely makes me want to check them out! I think they've been recommended before, so I'll add them to the list.

Unfortunately I had already watched her Killing Voice before I started this channel. I did love it and have watched it numerous times since, though.

Not my vibe but pretty good singing. Taeyeon wins of course. 😉 Apparently her range is B2 - D6. (D6 in Worry Free Love) So just above 3 octaves (+3 semi or minor third) That's considered good. To put that in perspective, and why I always bring this guy up, Dimash's range is C2 - D8 or 6 Octaves + 2 Semitones. Of course how usable that range is matters.
