Yes, Sunny so underrated. And for me, She is the most outstanding in the last album. There's a lot of parts I like on the album that I thought someone else was singing that part, turned out to be her.

I definitely need to go through it again and focus on her vocals!

SM tends to give Sunny few lines or makes her sing in a cutesy way, so her real voice doesn't get appreciated enough. May I recommend their ballad songs like "Not alone", "Promise", "Mistake", "Forever" ?

I never noticed she had few lines until I read the comment that lead to this video! It's a shame because I definitely enjoyed her vocals in this one. And thank you for the suggestions, I've added them to the list.

One more reason why i fall for SNSD aside frm their personalities wayback was their feels for songs esp ballads it was clear and soothing to my heart , made them standout for me among so many groups also their voices compliments so much to one another. Their live performances are my faves.

I really liked Sunny's voice and tone, and her voice is actually one of the 1st members that I recognized on their songs. I just think the reason she gets less line before is, since GG has 5 lead/main vocal, she's the least stable, same with Tiffany. It's just that Tiffany has a lower voice that sets her apart that's why she gets more line. That's why I really loved it especially on the new album where Sunny stands out. And of course Seohyun has always been in charge of harmonization for the group. If you can watch Into The New World acapella version and listen very closely, aside from the amazing vocals of Taeyeon, Jessica and Tiffany, you can hear her harmonizing in the background which makes the song even more beautiful. Actually she does this on most of their songs.

Sunny is underrated. More than underrated which we all know she is it's that people are ignorant and continue to use the fact that she's Lee Soo-Man's (founder of SM Entertainment) niece. After the news was release that's when all the hate came flooding in. She was a staple voice in their early days. Strong and powerful then she was forced to use the aegyo high-pitched voice we all came to know her for. But when it comes to their ballads and backing she delivers everytime 100 times fold. You should watch this entire program which features Snsd vocal line along with Super Junior's. Also check their performance of Danny Boy, Over the Rainbow and Day By Day. Another way to hear her shine are their tours. Lots of people came to realize that the parts they thought were the other vocal line members on the audio was actually Sunny. She along with Jessica and Seohyun provides the backing foe the entire group more than anyone else. You can also check out her solo projects. This is were her vocal techniques are on full display better so than in her group. Here are some of her tracks.
