One of my favorite things from any song I've ever heard is the way she takes the same lyric from the middle of the song, "I don't eat, I don't sleep," where it's this wail of anguish and depression, and brings it back at the end and turns it into something terrifying and threatening.

Thanks for listening to Lingua, there genuinely is nothing like her music out there. I would recommend the song "if the poison won't take you my dogs will" from Caligula or "I who bend the tall grasses" from Sinner get ready. Both amazing and unsettling

I may be wrong but I believe she wrote this after a really abusive relationship and recorded this in a closet while processing the situation

An important thing to note about her music is that not all of it is necessarily sung from her perspective, sometimes it's from the perspective of the abuser.

Check out Lingua Ignota's Butcher of the World, extremely intense track.

Great vid! You should check out her colab song with The Body "Nothing Stirs." Does a great job mixing the industrial sludge of The Body with her vocal delivery. Plus the added bonus of getting to hear the... unique vocal styling utilized across their work.

Thanks for doing this one! I just went to her show last night in chicago and she performed this, it was absolutely incredible.
