I love seeing this new age of longevity in US gymnastics. Can you imagine Gabby, Simone, and Suni on one team!? Not sure if it's realistic but it would certainly be exciting to have All Around Olympic Champions competing together. I think a lot of the reason for gymnasts returning is because of Chellsie Memmel becoming the national coach. Not just because of her experience as a returning gymnast but creating a new safe environment for these athletes. Please document your journey to/at Chellsie Memmel's Adult Gymnastics Competition if/when you decide to do it. Would love to see some of your gymnastics!

All these gymnasts pushing back against the narrative of being too old and still competing at an elite level as actual adults is actually what got me into watching gymnastics beyond just the Olympics. Coming from the ballet world we're fed a very similar narrative, and it's not until you're older that you gain the perspective to realize what nonsense it is. So it's really great and inspiring to see women like Simone and Gabby out there doing the thing and being amazing at it despite being supposedly "old." Would love to watch you get back in the gym, not least because I anticipate some real sass as you get all your skills back. You absolutely can and should do it if it's something that excites you!

not only at the Olympics. but won a gold medal (Again). and if it weren't for that two per country rule would have been in the all around (and still should have been but i digress) and I have no doubt USA would have went 1-2-3 in AA if that rule wasnt in place

I think it's possible for us to have 1.2.3 in the AA it's not about the olympic gold medalist
