We drag ourselves to CCS and leave disappointed time after time. And we are served the same slow, ponderous, clueless crap week after week. We are so predictable, it's laughable. We start every attack by passing the ball aimlessly between centrebacks and keeper until the opposition get bored and close us down, then we move the ball to our midfielders who instinctively pass it back to Goutas or Phillips, and we go through the same laborious rubbish again until we concede. We have strikers who can't score goals, not even from set pieces, and our top scorer is a defender. And when we do attack, we know KG will try to get to the byline to get a cross in, but there will be nobody in the middle to pass it to. As for Bowler, he's a one-trick pony. He gets the ball, tries to cut in, and runs into traffic. Why we even play him on the right wing is beyond my understanding. We defend by allowing the opposition as much space as they need and hardly any of our players track back or are prepared to throw their bodies in the way of incoming shots. We look unfit and lethargic, and we put a substitute on the pitch yesterday, who himself was substituted 10 minutes later after pulling his hamstring. Tells us everything we need to know about our current physios and explains why we have so many long-term injuries. As always, I stayed until the bitter end but I didn’t blame anyone who left early. It was embarrassing to watch.
