118 to 110. Always makes me laugh. I agree with your score card except for round 11. I thought canelo won it. I would say it was a justified tie.

If you think it’s a tie then a 118-110 scored isn’t any different than if she had it 114-114. It would still be a draw. Me personally I thought Canelo won pretty easy. Alot of the punches GGG throws arent landing

Defense doesn’t score you points, counterpunching does, if only Canelo followed up with clean shots after he made GGG miss (not saying he didn’t, but he just didn’t do it enough) then people would have accounted that for scoring.

@@thegreatest2245 Defense is part of scoring criteria. So it does score. It's not tallied like punches but even the amount of punches tallied doesn't win you a fight. It's rd by rd basis scoring. Depending on what judges like.

GGG definitely won the 1'st. Biz is a great host and has the best community on the net. But I've learned the man can't score a fight by now.

GGG is so good at cutting off the ring. That aspect of his boxing is underrated.

Canelo might have stamina problems however you can see the the age and experience on Triple GGG's side. With that said, I don't honestly think either fighter clearly won the fight.

It was adjusting to weight,plus facing a bigger fighter will burn more gas.

Canelo head rolls with most of gggs big punches, GGG aint hurting him, Canelo always responds.. Canelo cudve easily gotten the decision..

The problem is that Canelo landed those clear punches in spurts, he took a majority of those rounds off because he was tired, GGG took the majority of those rounds because Canelo was basically chilling on the ropes doing nothing. Just my 2 cents

Agree. This fight brought him along well. He was clearly a better fighter and had that dog in him going forward. Looked much better in the rematch... I saw it as basically a draw. Had GGG winning 8 rounds in this fight. At least 7 anyhow.

I had it for Canelo 1-4, 10-12 also round 7. It wasnt such a close fight as it was highly competetive. One guy however was able to use his entire arsenal and the other forced to jab only. One guy who got hit with jabs vs one who got hit with the kitchen sink. One guy who stalked vs one who fought where and when he wanted. Defence vs a chin. Canelo won

Then you mention the jab which Idc who you are if you throw 550 jabs and only land 118 you had a bad day. Canelo being the one moving up weight to challenge the champ didn't seem to respect his power much either. After all I still put money on G in 2nd fight and lost it.
