REACTION Blind Guardian Bard's Song & Vahalla

Музыка

This is last upload for today.
Bard Song begins at 01:48:09
Vahalla begins at 8:03:04
This is a double-feature!!!
Special thanks to Andre Felder, EliamDar, and Nathan for the suggestion.
The pauses, with 'slide effects', and commentary are also great practice for learning my editing skills for the longer songs. Especially since I've not yet experienced Poet & Pendulum and Greatest Show on Earth yet.

In fairness Blind Guardian started in the early 80's. Often called the founding fathers of Power Metal/Speed Metal. All I can say is they are certainly one of the greats.

Still one of the greatest "events" getting 50,000+ metal-heads to sing your song as one and to sound great doing it. As an artist I can't imagine how the band felt hearing their creation being sung by the fans in an open air festival on a warm August night in Wacken, Germany. If this doesn't affirm that you picked your right life's work and that you have made an impact with that work NOTHING ever will. I would of been unable to continue if that happened to me I can't imaging the rush and emotions one experiences at that moment. Blind Guardian is a great German band around from the 1980's!!! This is what Wacken is all about metal-head heaven where you and 82,000 other souls can really come and experience the music and the bands you love while also hearing some new one trying to make a name for themselves (190 bands usually play over the festival on 9 stages). You just witnessed what one iconic German band means to the fans of metal. A love fest for one of the great European bands that have been around even longer than Nightwish. BTW the "crowd surfing" is a thing at many of these concerts, don't get the thrill but you you better not be overweight (LOL)! The ride ends when security pulls you off the crowd and then you go back to the back of the crowd!! Wacken is on my bucket list as it truly is an experience as you can see. The village that hosts it has only 1800 residents yet it makes everyone feel welcome. People from all over mixing, drinking and eating while music plays all day and into the night! They limit it to 82,000 tickets to keep it a great experience for everyone. Great reaction, I knew the Bard's Song you would love but you surprised me with Vahalla (more metal) proof that one never should make assumptions especially when it comes to music!!! Hey if you want more of the Wacken feel try another great band Avantasia and The Scarecrow (kzread.info/dash/bejne/foit2tCOirCnYc4.html) another Wacken gem.

You did several reactions to Floor Jansen (Nightwish and recently her guest appearance with Epica) by now. It's funny that Floor is often called a Valkyrie (Chooser of the Slain) by fans. The Valkyrie (they're like Odin's shieldmaidens) take warriors who have fallen in battle to Valhalla. So, there's quite a theme to all this. Your reactions are wonderful, btw.

This is where you know you've achieved something grand with your music and for the people that listen to it and love it. This, in my opinion, is probably the best reward that Blind Guardian ever had. Having such an amazing fan base and audience. This wasn't the first time they had this kind of audience, of course, but it just shows how constant is the love and interest for Blind Guardian are from their Fan.

This floating of people above the audiences heads is the only way to *save* people in the crowd who are feeling bad in some way. Remember: its a one week event with nearly 200 Bands playing and because its here in Germany there is a LOT of alcohol floating....this causes some kinds of illness some time.....so how get a single person out of 83000 spectators? At some event this way started in the 70´s and its a practical way.
