The importance of getting ready first thing in the morning, hair, makeup, whatever makes YOU feel pretty, is very underrated these days For women who wear hijab AND women who don’t equally, and especially for new moms and stay at home wives. Getting ready is the ONE thing that has the biggest impact on mental health in my opinion. Make yourself feel pretty and put yourself first the first few minutes of the day and it has such a big impact on your mood!!!!

I personally don’t support the idea of making assumptions about people i don’t really know. BUT i do think your answers were really polite and you are just so graceful and elegant in general. ❤️

Stay blessed. You are so polite and modest and love that about you. I started wearing hijab almost 5 years ago and don’t miss not wearing it. One day I thought I would never feel the wind in my hair ever again with hijab every where and then I thought Allah has given me so many other blessings and also blessed me towards hijab so I will be ok doing hijab for Allah.

Leena! What you said about sisters getting closer once they move away is so true!!!! I’m the middle of 3 sisters and a few years ago my sister went off to university, I went to boarding school, and my youngest sister stayed with my parents. We all appreciated each other a lot more and distance brought us so much closer together as ironic as that sounds :)

I‘m really glad you said that about not having a huge group of friends. I have two or three close friends and of course my family. I used to feel a little odd because whenever I saw other people celebrating birthdays, etc. they had sooo many friends.
