Yeonjung is pretty famous in Korea for having won every survival show she's been on. Produce 101, Queendom, V-1 (a vocal competition where she ended up beating Siyeon from Dreacatcher in the finals) and Immortal Songs. Her vocals are that insane, and she's got the personality and likeability to match them. She made her musical debut last year too, and was even nominated for an award for her performance on her first ever stage. I remember her going quite viral for her first musical because of a scene where she made out with a woman on stage, my twitter feed was flooded lol. But yeah, she's on her way to becoming a household name in Korea.

In the first video, it was the first comeback with the new member, Yeonjung. She was the one falling from the sky and I think that's a really cute and creative introduction to her joining the group and their concept. They became 13 after that.

Exy is the rapper and leader of the group. If I remember correctly, she did initially train to be a vocalist and she actually sings very well too. But I think due to overtraining she started developing vocal nodules so she switched to rapping. And I honestly do think she’s one of the best female idol rappers. There’s just something about her flow that just sounds so smooth and easy to listen to. And seeing as she’s the only rapper in a group of 10 (at one point 13 members), she holds her own very well.

the member you said would probably end up being your bias is Yeonjung. The maknae and one of the main vocalists alongside Soobin and Dawon. Yeonjung was actually in the project group ioi after participating in the survival show produce 101. she’s famous for her group’s cover of Girls’ Generation’s into the new world on the show! she’s also my bias in the group too🫶 looking forward to your future wjsn reactions

Hi, hello, yes I am one of the gays that is here for WJSN, they're actually one of my ult groups. I'm so glad you enjoyed them. I'm also really happy you mentioned how well Exy's raps fit the songs, because that is actually something I've been saying for a long time, Like she really does seem to have a talent for knowing exactly how to make a rap that will fit in any song.

Thank you for recognizing Exy! She's an unappreciated rapper in kpop. As you said, she makes her raps fit the songs. I know rapper should have their own style where it's recognizable that it's them but it's also a skill to be a chameleon. That's exactly what Exy is! She writes her raps to blend it and that's a hard skill to master!

Finally someone appreciate yeonjung!! She is 13th members of the group. She was an SM trainee (got cut off from RV's line up i think) Then she wasnt chosen as wjsn member and joined Produce 101 (the first season), rank 61st on the first ep, then got a huge jump thanks to her performance of INTO THE NEW WORLD eventho she lost to SOMI's team (yea cause they got somi). Finally debuted as 11th member of IOI (with Somi, Chungha, Sejeong, etc). You should def check out IOI next time, they dont have much discography, so its not gonna be a long videos :)

She was actually chosen in WJSN lineup - but Starship wanted her to go to PD101, just to boost up WJSN debut.

@@salbenrosli707 no, wjsn was supposed to be 12 members with each member represent different zodiac (their born date). And yeunjung was added as ophiucus aka 13th zodiac later cause she was super popular.

The 3 starship trainees signed up and auditioned for Produce 101 and started filming for the show in around Late Q3 / Q4 of 2015. WJSN's final lineup was only finalised and announced around the end of November to December 2015. Starship & YueHua wanted to have a 12 member lineup for debut because of their zodiac concept hence why YeonJung didn't debut with them in the beginning as she couldn't be an active member until the show ends. Member Bona once mentioned on a show that they only knew who the debuting members were through the news / socials and or from other staff members, they were also not given the choice to pick a Stage Name and was assigned without their acknowledgement. (member EXY was the exception as she was active for Unpretty Rapstars 2)

@@STANSAT10N But yeunjung wasnt even the trainee that was pushed in the show. It was Taeha. Yeunjung only got popular thanks to Into the New World stage, plus the chanmi evil edit. And then she got evil edited in the next round 🤣

Soobin my bias, she one of the main vocalist. You pointed her out near the end, you said you remember her from queendom with the vocalist group. I love her voice, and her quirky personality. Been awhile since I watch their reality stuff but I remember she alway tryin make her member laugh. lol

Yeoreum situation with lines is even worse then you think as she's technically a main dancer by circumstances, so she was an alsmot literal ghost when Chinise line a.k.a dance line was still in the group. That is why she was so stressed on Queendom being a main dancer.

If you get a chance to check out "as you wish" you should. In my opinion it is the best song they have. This might seem like too high of praise but the finale of the song is also one of the best I've ever heard in kpop. Definitely should check it out if you do more wjsn reactions.

actually, gays are served with their unit called WJSN The Black with a debut song named Easy and the bside is Kiss your lips. I love both 2 songs cause it have gays vibe for sure. But for group songs, i rcm u Done, Unnatural, Trala, last dance, as you wish, badaboom... Yes they were 13 members but the Chinese line (3 members) with time they stopped promoting with WJSN, they were badly promoted tbh and when they went back to China they stayed there cuz it was mores successful (the Chinese girls r under Yuehua) The group still being 10 members tho, Luda ans Dawon just left Starship not the group.
