Been following this band since their debut in the 2000s. MVs don’t do justice to them cause they are phenomenal live esp their recent 15/10 anniversary arena tours and inazuma rock fest appearances. They’ve come a long way musically from just alternative rock to their unique sounding fusion rock esp in their recent 3 albums (after adding seika as their 6th member again). Should react to their live performances like those posted on their vevo page and the live versions of songs like impact, core pride, collide and nano second. Truly amazing stuff

UVERworld was one of the first Japanese bands I listened (mostly because of their anime openings) and your video just made me realize that I haven't really listened to them these past couple of years. I have to correct this mistake :D

Hi Mac! UVERworld is my alltime favorite jrocksong, they've done soooo many genres, and so many experiment troughout their albums you should really check them song, and I Highly.. HIGHLY recommend that you checkout their 4 PV's, that has a story on it which tells about a Life Struggle in Japan, man.. somehow the song's Lyric gave me A LOT of inspiration and motivations about those who somehow wanted to give up life... the songs is : 1. Nanokame no Ketsui (Availabe at VEVO) the pv's tells about a boy who's only has 7 days left to live and what will he do about it, the lyrics tells you about those who fears of what will happen next in their life.. 2. PRAYING RUN (at UVERworldJP) [episode 1] -you'll rlly get pumped with this song, its very energic and moving- the pv's tells about a man who is a boxer that lose in his fight, "don't give up and stay on your way".. the lyrics is about those to not despairing of what they will have to do. 3. ALL ALONE (at UVERworldJP) [episode 2] the pv's the sequel of "Praying Run" which tells the little brother of the boxer who have lost his dream, a man who lost his lover, a girl who's in a need of a money, a girl who got hated about her personality in school, and a journalist that covers all the stories (all of them wants to die/ends their life, except the journalist). the lyric is kinda gives you the imaging of people's struggle. 4. Hon no Sukoshi (at UVERworldJP) [episode 3] the last series and the continuation of "All Alone" pv , the resolution of all, the one who finally ends their life and the one that stands up and get trough all of their struggles. imo the lyrics basically tells about a love song "Eternal love or something like risking this life. I hated guys who sang a song about those. I thought they sounded like lies. But when I look at you, I wanna sing just like them too." probably, beside "Praying Run", isn't a song that will get you pumped or what.. but it just, the songs really gives you something about life... ((:

ShinyKyu I pronounce it Ou-ver-world because that’s how you would pronounce it if it were in Swedish, except for “world” which I pronounce in English because it’s an English word

YESSSSSSS FINALLYYYYYYY You really picked the best stuff here haha Much like many others I would suggest to check out their live videos, too. Like the ones uploaded on their Vevo Channel. Reverse, I Love The World, 0 Choir, Itteki no Eikyou! They give some pretty damn good impression of their true strength. Since well...they do consider themselves a live band :D

Ryan, UVERworld's studio recording doesn't do them any justice. You absolutely have to listen to their lives because their energies on their lives are.... seriously you have to experience it yourself. Their lives that I recommends are "7th Trigger, Don't.Think.Feel, and Ace of Ace" seriously you don't have to record yourself reacting to it, but you HAVE TO watch their live concerts. I love them. I started sing the first time. Good memories with the first song. I used to watched Bleach with my sister.😘 we would watch the first season of bleach together.

D'technolife = my fav Japanese song ever! I have LITERALLY memorized all the lyrics of the full song! All of UVERWORLD's songs are awesome, hence why it's one of my fav Japanese bands.

Dude i really recommend you to try listening to Ling Tosite Sigure next ! The vocalist has very unique voice. -Abnormalize -Enigmatic Feeling -Who what who what The vocalist (TK from Ling Tosite Sigure) also does a lot of solo work worth checking -Unravel -Signal and much much more!

Well, searching through this channel help me to "refresh" some bands - thank you :) Especially UVERwolrd and I didn't know that they recorded so good songs - "Impact" is so awesome! (my favourite song from them is "Gekidou"). Well, everybody does it so why I can't ask too. But my ask is for not really good known bands - I mean: OLDCODEX and D. If it's easy to find songs by OLDCODEX, it's more difficiult when it goes about D - it's japanese rock/metal band and maybe try to listen songs like: new "愚かしい竜の夢" or "Ouka saki some ni keri", "Night Ship D" or "Yami yori kurai doukoku no acapella" etc, etc XD I think they're interesting ;) (I was two times at theirs concerts in Poland - they're great!)
