This is so true. USA have so much influence, heck, we even learn and talk specially about USA in our English classes. It is also terrifying seeing literal “Trump” supporters in my country. Of course, almost all think Trump is a joke, but some make those offensive jokes and have the same views as him without really realizing it. The people of the United States have great power, and what happens there effects others outside their borders. It really makes me upset how influenced we are of them while they (not all ofc) seem to think it’s all about them and do all this stupid things, it’s actually annoying and USA in a way are a little of a trigger for my anxiety some times even.

“The US isn’t racist” I’m a white American. Racism exists, and saying it doesn’t is ignorant and is part of the problem. The fact that people actually think that saying stuff like the “China virus” isn’t offensive is just... I can’t describe how pissed it makes me. I cannot imagine what it must be like to be a person of color. It's because in English speaking countries we teach two continents but in Spanish speaking countries they teach one. That's it. North America is a continent. So is America. They both are. If you go to the English Wikipedia and type 'America' it will redirect you to the US. If you go the Spanish Wikipedia and type 'America' it will redirect you to the continent. I've seen these comments so many fucking times it's so goddam annoying.

I've had an abortion before and there was no unique smell like how Abby was making it seem like. Even the blood I bled due to the abortion, I do not recall any weird/off-putting smells. I can't speak for everyone but that was my experience. The fact that she said that makes me believe that she's just trying to instill more fear into people with little to no knowledge about how abortions are really like.
