Can’t you have a disclaimer below your facecam or behind you, on every Fifa video, about not spending money on points? That would constantly remind the viewers (including the EA Employee viewers) about this trash game. Also, It could become a trend among the fifa youtubers and could be one efficient way to take the boycott further.

Matt is missing the point. No one expects 90% of the playerbase to stop playing. A 10% drop in the HARDCORD player base to EA is 100s of millions to EA. Their investors would run away in an instant. The casual players are playing kickoff and pro clubs with their mates. Most of them don't even spend on the game. It's just a sorry excuse.

Casual dad here. I play football games since ISS. Most games weren't so bad that I stopped playing. Pes is almost dead now. FC 24 is so bad that it made me just stop playing football games for the first time in my life. 90% of my friends stopped playing FC too. The casual playerbase is shrinking. The revenues are at all time highs. What's does this tell you ? People who watches all those KZreadrs are what's left. They are buying the packs. Not the casual playerbase. So who can solve the problem by stopping buying packs ? I think KZreadrs can make a change. Just my opinion

@@Glenuig So true. I still have PES6 installed on my old laptop. My favorite PES. I play a bit every few years. Imagine that. I press a button and the player does the action at the exact moment I press it. Unbelievable. Sure, it's arcade, but it's fun because it has the basics. A certain predictability and a direct feel to the game. Everything has to be subordinated to that. Because that's what makes the game feel good. I could write a novel about the things about FC's gameplay that just don't work or are poorly implemented. Playstyles, AI, passes, shots, goalkeeper animations. The interaction of all these points just doesn't work. I don't even want to start with the career mode. It's not supposed to be fun. It's all about packs and FIFA coins.

Without master league no efootball for me. I'm 37 now and I'm not a fan of this pack opening stuff. For me it doesn't make sense to spend money on a game and a year later everything is gone. I would spend money on a master League dlc but that's it.

What happened is a DEVELOPER CHANGED THE odds to open his rewards but the goof forgot to turn it off AND LEFT IT ON . he left it on for two long and folks got rewarded I’m sure the developer finished his matches quick left home but forgot to change the odds

I think the best way to do it for next EA FC, dont buy points and make RTG team. That is what i gonna do. And if you want alot of packs for toty, then save the good packs from objectives/rewards . These days you can easily get a good team cuz of the sbc's, objective and with the evo's .

You had it right the first time Nick, only way boycott will work is to stop playing the game entirely, daily active user numbers are an extremely valuable metric of performance to EA as well. Unfortunately this community is so addicted to packs (SBC loops are also packs) they can’t even find another game to play for a month and EA knows this so they will just continue their predatory behavior. Seriously people it only takes a bit of willpower and a tiny bit of self discipline

But i refuse to believe anyone enjoys FC24 gameplay, the game literally changes mid match to the point where both halves feel like a completely different game it's a joke 😂 every single player has a different corner glitch, different kick off glitch etc.. you score a goal and EA lets the other guy equalize instantly by making your players do animations that don't even make sense, can't player switch, your defence parts like the red sea and when you FINALLY get good gameplay the guy leaves whilst you're 2-0 up and makes you get a loss.. like bro NOBODY enjoys this gameplay why is he talkin shit 😂

So first he says a protest wont do anything because they dont care... Then he goes on showing examples of how much they DO care. They WANT to look good. Why would they go out of their way and tell him to take the videos down? Nick is right. MEDIA COVERAGE is important. The more the better. We have to break out of our bubble and reach the whole gaming community. People who are big in general need to cover this and we achieve this with media coverage.

I’m just sat here smiling at this whole debacle. I quit FIFA entirely after 19 and despite my mate’s pressures, haven’t bought another FIFA/EAFC game since and am not going to. I always said the core problem with the game was the horrible gameplay. And seemingly from what I’ve seen, it’s gotten worse with new gen. EA don’t care about making a quality sports game. Go and ask Madden, NHL and UFC players about the garbage they’ve put up with as well because of the gambling-focused monetisation of their games. If you’re still playing this game and find yourself hating every second, stop playing it. If you’re fed up with EA’s lack of consideration of their product, stop playing it. I promise you, it’ll do you the world of good for your mental health. The only way the game gets better is if people stop playing it. End of.

I actually dont think youtubers realise that they have turned a generation into gambling addicts. Yet youtubers are still telling their fans to buy coins. The game is 90% menus & 10% gameplay. I have so much respect for Matt after watching this. He became a "Game-Changer" but refused to sell his soul. Props to him. And with all due respect to Nick, there's a HUGE difference in the way that Matt conducts himself compared to some of the other creators he mentioned that are critical of the game. Matt approaches the situation with integrity and maturity. Guys like 28T, Kurt, etc...act like toxic ego-maniac man-children that do it exclusively for the clout, all the while gloating over how much money they've raised for charity or whatever. They just enjoy whipping their fans (that are mostly kids, lets be honest) into a rage. You can call Matt's content bland, buy damn it, he's going about it the right way, while some of these other guys are doing as much or more harm than good for the community.

On top of everything, behind the team that actually handles eafc there’s a higher up group of executives who don’t even know what the game is who are the ones deciding how much time and talent is given to the devs. The only way for them to notice would be if eafc started losing money which is not possible

Bro I stopped playing Fifa after the 22 version due to starting my masters which I have now finished about 8 months ago. Never bought fifa points/coins in my life. Loved the RTG challenge and finishing the year with full Portuguese squad. I used to literally play 3/4hrs a day and miss playing it but just watching these videos is keeping me away from buy a ps5 and getting fc24 or further fcs.

It’s mad. I really liked this game, I enjoyed playing it. I have now stopped playing because I HATE EA. It’s a genuine hatred at this point. I saved up over 250 packs, the majority decent enough (85x10 etc) for TOTY full release. Then they killed the pack odds and I got Earps, that was it. Not played since. Seeing the Mbappe incident is no surprise, I also agree it’s some inside hatred coming from within the company though. Especially the mbappe one. Someone on the inside showing how bad the packweight is and how it can be manipulated at any point

I’d argue there’s more than 3 types of people, cos FC24 is literally an arcade style slow paced game, I understand realism breaks the game too but overall the game doesn’t even reflect football so it can’t be called a simulation, so some people want slow or fast paced games, some want arcade and some want realism, some want licences, but all these variables are also on a spectrum, it’s definitely hard to appeal to everyone, but to me FC24 is the worst product EA could’ve made, the licences being in the game is literally even offensive to football as a sport
