I used to work night maintenance at a Cracker Barrel restaurant. After closing time, the majority of the lights were set to dim or completely go off. I was in the building overnight alone, and being in the dimly lit dining area with all the old photos and artifacts they had as decorations was very creepy. The music also turned off after closing, so it was just me mopping the floors in dark silence with stoic photos of long dead people staring at me. Talk about a creepy night job, lol.

As a person who had had moderate to severe thalassaphobia my whole life I did not learn to swim until I was maybe 10 because the dark lines on the bottom of the pool reminded me of the deep ocean when I put my head under the water

Ever notice how she'll occasionally just swap into one of her character's voices for a split second? It's actually kinda interesting how that happens. Practicing a certain accent enough will actually cause it to merge into your everyday speech. I actually pronounce a lot of words in Scottish, Australian, and British accents for a similar reason.

So here’s a funny/creepy story: So idk… maybe about twenty years ago my parents watched The Ring. Obviously it scared the heck out of them. My dad couldn’t sleep for months and every time he went to bed he would imagine a little girl with dark hair standing in the corner of his room. Then about maybe 15 yrs later (after him and my mom got married) he would sometimes here tapping on the door of their bedroom. It wasn’t loud, it was very faint. He would get up to investigate. He would go to the door and nobody would be there. Then he turned to his right and there was a little girl with dark hair spilling over her face. That girl… was my little annoying sister coming to sleep with them when she couldn’t go to sleep. This happened a lot when she was little. Now admit it, I had you in the first half. Edit: I just wanna say that this is my dad’s story and it’s definitely real, I just extended it making it scarier

Fun fact: my parents used to use me as a paranormal monitor when I was like 1-2 yrs. I'd start looking at something not there, follow it till it stopped, start giggling just before an object would move. My 4th grade teacher pulled me out of class 1 day to ask me if it's become a problem the increase of seeing things that aren't there for others has gotten. Made me realize the more you give attention the more they realize they're being noticed and they'll want more attention cause they're not only invisible to everyone

La llorona was a woman married to a man and she had two kids boy and girl and they misbehaved. the husband REALLY didn’t like them so la llorona wanted to prove her love to him so she drowned the kids. The husband was freaked out and left her and she regretted it so she just cried by the river she drowned them in and killed her self (I can’t remember if she drowned her self or like slit her throat or something). Now every time your by a body of water and you hear crying you know it’s her and you’ll supposedly die in a accident. My parents used to tell me this story and tell me that she’s gonna get me while I’m sleeping if I miss behave.

I was told that La llorona is a spirit who wonders about the living world crying and searching for her "lost children" Who were killed by her. She drowned them in a river and is most often heard crying by a river. People say to not follow the cries and just run the other way as following her cries could lead to great misfortune or she might even drown you herself.
