I think the moon, Greek sculptures and arrows all have reference to Artemis, Greek goddess of the hunt. She fell in love with Orion, but Apollo had him killed so she turned Orion into a constellation. It would fall into line with the whole "I can't love you even though I do" and "even I abandon myself and lose myself more, the irony is that you shine more". Like even though she's falling apart, his constellation still shines. Or I could be completely wrong lol but the mythology buff in me feels like she drew inspiration from Artemis!

maybe someone else explain in the comments already but taeyeon said the song INVU is about "i envy you for being loved by me and also jealous of you who's not as sick as i am" the imagery in the video is supposed to be her as artemis and she is shooting the arrows at herself. it doesn't show in the video but there is part in the choreo where it looks like an arrow is sticking out of her great reaction as always, the song is a bop

you don't know how much I've missed "Lazy Girl" by snsd😭

I saw on twitter that the storyline was like derived from Orion and Artemis' relationship. So basically, artemis is like a sworn maiden so falling in love is difficult for her but then she fell for Orion. Then Artemis' twin brother Apollo, dont like the fact that Artemis fell for Orion so he tricked Artemis into killing Orion and Artemis regret it so she turned Orion into a star I guess. The moon symbolizes Artemis since she's a moon goddess. #Artaengmis

I thought Purpose outshined this album for sure but INVU (the song) definitely topped Spark & Fine!

Ha! This is why I like watching your reactions to SNSD content because we tend to have similar comments. First, yes, I had the same reaction to the Envy album. For an expensive album I’m surprised they went with that type of paper. I’m so used to the nice, thick matte ones that this one feels kinda cheap. Isn’t it the same type of paper used in glossy posters? Also, my Envy copy has 2 pages with tears at the top. 😭 Definitely a manufacturing issue. Ugghhh whyyy.. I also had the same reaction to the INVU MV. Everything’s pretty and Taeyeon looks great as always but I prefer her usual storyline based MVs outside the SM box we see used for most of SM’s artists. I know CGI is expensive but I guess I’m old and basic. 😂 And lastly, I love love You Better Not, as well! I’m surprised not a lot of people have it as one of their faves. I like that and Siren the most from the B-sides, probably on an equal level depending on my mood. On initial listen, Some Nights and Ending Credits were also the ones I was pretty meh to and found pretty boring, but they grew on me later on. I wasn’t a fan of how repetitive the chorus of Ending Credits goes but later grew to like it’s calming effect. Some Nights also became one of my more often played tracks so now I can see why many people love it. 😂
