For a team of our past and glory history yes it is underachieving but the last 12 years have been horrible so yes and no we have underachieved in alot of people's eyes but I think that this is just the beginning of something big. And if we get a new owner? Boy the big clubs must watch out.

Fans are supposed to be incredibly biased, that's a big part of what makes the game exciting. It means you get to clown them when they are this wrong. I had Sterling down as a flop, but I will at least come to his defense somewhat. Clearly his picks were contingent on Chelsea as a whole having a very good season, which I think most people would have predicted. I always felt Chelsea flattered to deceive with their transfer policy though; delighted to be proven right about them.

Tbf United were in a bit of a diar situation come the start of the season. They had had an utterly chaotic transfer window at that point (they hadn't gotten Casemiro by then) and had not gotten rid of the deadwood from last season. Ten Hag has done a good job to get top 4, but not a great one.

Chelsea's downfall last season was evident and although it has been amplified by Boehly's takeover it was quite obvious that they would not finish top 3 again. Although nobody seemed to care about how poor they were at the end of last season, if u looked even a bit at it it was obvious that they were nowhere as good as they were at the start of it. This was not an "anomaly season", and they will not just go back to normal next season, they will need time to come back to the top.

It's a bad take because Werner only did it at Leipzig while Erling did it at Salzburg, Dortmund and Norway keeping close to a goal per game ratio. It just showed he never watched them play.

Their prediction is all based on how well the team did in the transfer market. Season surprises Nottingham Forest? No team in history has done after bringing in huge number of players. If anyone watched preseason they would have seen Arsenal/United were doing quite well and chelsea/tottenham were quite poor.

I have been harsh on Rory just like everyone else, and rightfully so because that take on Erling is undoubtedly as close as you can get to making a take that ensures no one will ever take your words serious again. Nominee for the worst prediction in the history of football, but all that being said its fairplay for him to take it on the chin here. Warrants some respect for him to eat his words like this, even if I will always see his opinions on football as more of jokes than actual opinions. Great video and accountability here, thumps up.

Gary Oneil took over Bournemouth from Scott Parker, who gave up on staying up, after losing 9 0 to Liverpool. And they survived with games to spare. Excellent job
