Thank you for this. As a Reveluv and as a fan of Irene in particular, this whole situation shook me. I don't want to justify Irene but I feel like saying that, following her for 6 years, she is by no means a bad person as everyone is portraying her right now. She made a mistake, she apologized and is paying the consequences but all the hatred they are turning to her is absurd. Even though what she did was bad, she apologized. People demanding more are ridiculous, in the end a celebrity is also human and can make mistakes...just imagine if every step and action you make is watched and judged. I would totally agree with the reaction of the people if this kind of behavior occurs again, but it is to much to destroy her whole career, also everyone can have a bad day but still they have to smile no matter what. Also we shouldn't forget all the people who are trying to get a little attention because of this because they felt mistreated or to compensate their own shortcomings.

she will always be the most warmhearted and kind person not just to her members but also to all people around her. A single mistake doesn't define who a person is.

True. Irene yelling someone doesn't mean she's rude or mean. She didn't act just as she wanted. She acted as much as anyone would. People judged her simply because Irene was expected to act as perfect Idol, but she's only human.

Exactly! The issue was just between Irene and the stylist. She already went to meet the stylist face to face before even apologizing publicly which she didn't need to do btw but she doesn't want to worry the fans. With one mistake they already judged her whole character. CHOSE to IGNORE all the good things that the staff and dancers shared whom she worked with for a long time. The made a lot of baseless accusations just to jump on the hate train. And also just because she is a woman she gets a lot more criticism compared when a male idol gets involved in a controversy. The stylist who complained is already over it I don't understand why others are not as if Irene wronged them.

Here is my take on the whole situation... I think what irene did was bad.. But she apologized.. So the only thing i would like to know is what does the stylist thinks... Is she happy with the apology irene made or not.. My biggest problem is with some youtube *ditectives* who are now *analyzing* irenes fancam videos and stuff and trying to prove a point like.. *Yo she is as worse as jimin* *She is ruining red velvet reputation* I hope people just kept this decision to the stylist only... I agree.. and she will never be worse than Jimin. Jimin is a totally different story and it went on for 10yrs. Not even close to Irene. About the Stylist, she posted her last statement on her IG stories yesterday saying, that she decided to delete her post on her IG bec they already met in person and were able to accept Irene's apology. It also has been said there that they hope people will not twist their words, and that they "did not want the issue to blow up" (which I think is suspicious bec it will obviously blow up since it's a very famous person). Anyway, they settled the issue and I also hope people will move on and give Irene a chance. Just bec she made a mistake, does not mean she is a bad person.

I listen to Red Velvet's music but I actually don't know much about their personalities so I decided to watch this. I actually burst into tears at Irene steaming Yeri's school uniform. These groups really are like family.

I've always felt like Irene knows and understands her place as the leader of Red Velvet--she owns being the group's visual, rapper and lead dancer but she also gives breathing space for her members to shine in their own roles within the group. If you notice in Red Velvet, everyone gets a chance to shine--yeah, there are some unequal things like line distribution or camera exposure on stages but she can't control that--but on things that she can control, she really makes sure that each of her members has a chance to shine and this is why I really hate it that some K-netz are already comparing her to that j*min aoa bully :( Stay strong unnie! I’m so surprised there are delusional haters wanting Irene to leave the group. Yes she made a mistake but I don’t see any innocence in the editor who “recorded” her. If she was in such said “shock” state, would she be in that state of mind to even consider recording her? Couldn't agree more. Firstly, it shouldn't be anyone's business but Irene's and the person involved. Secondly everyone is allowed to make a mistake and lose their temper once in a while. Here kind of late but this is it. This is THE comment. This is exactly how I feel in the simplest terms. We learn from a young age that if we mess up we get scolded, if we do well, we get commended. People are harsh when you grow up because you are an ADULT. You need to be better and learn from your mistakes. I get yelled at a lot, I’ve been fired from jobs before. And I’ve deserved it.
