In this performance, you are seeing David Gilmour performing at age 70 in Pompeii. Back up 45 years and watch David perform in Pompeii in 1971 at age 25 as part of Pink Floyd performing “Echoes.”

The 1994 Pulse concert contains by far the best live version of this song. An absolute must see.

The 1994 Division Bell tour, known as Pulse, is possibly the greatest musical avent in history.......the 2nd encore was the best version of Comfortably Numb ever, with the worlds favourite guitar solo to finnish the number....... you havent experienced Comfortably Numb until you watch and hear this version.

Pink Floyd was formed in London in 1965. At the 1994 Pulse performances, you will see 3 members of Pink Floyd from the 1960s performing at close to age 50.

Saw hundrets of concerts from big stars of all Genres, but nothing compares, comes even close to PF. Had the chance to see Floyd 3 times, close to heart attack experiences, all 3 concerts, especially Hannover 94 Niedersachsen Stadium surrounded by the echoes Ping sound were mindblowing gifts for a lifetime. From joint smokers over heavy motorcycle guys to intellectuals, all were in a psychedelic trance trip of a perfect combination of light, special effects and sound which ended with a sheer never ending smile.

Wow, great band doing a great song live and a beautiful host to present it. Not to shabby, what more could one ask? Have a wonderful and exciting day. [not too exciting, wouldn't want you to break a sweat or be stressed or anything]

I was not in Pompeii for this show but I did see David Gilmour and this band in 2016 at Madison Square Garden and they ended the show with this.

This is not Pink Floyd. David Gilmour was the lead guitarist for Pink Floyd. Please check out PINK FLOYD performing Comfortably Numb live at PULSE (1994). The extended guitar solo and spectacular light show combine for an unforgettable performance.

It may not be Pink Floyd, but it's certainly 50% of Pink Floyd. Pink Floyd survived just fine without Roger, but without David's guitar and voice there is NO Pink Floyd.

No band like Pink Floyd,.... but the only member of Pink Floyd onstage here is David Gilmour, Pink Floyd guitarist and lead vocals since 1968. Guy Pratt on bass, has been playing bass for Pink Floyd and David Gilmour since around 1986, after Roger waters quit the band in 1985.

Hi Lijie....New subscriber here to say - I love your reactions, and to give you a suggestion for a reaction video. If you don't already know him, you should investigate Steve Vai...and I suggest starting with "Tender Surrender"

I liked and subscribed to your channel only because you posted Pink Floyd! I am 66 years old now and Pink Floyd the album dark side of the moon is special to me, because that was what was always played for some one getting stoned for the first time on weed back in the early 1970’s . So it was with me ! If you have not ever smoked some good weed and got a really good buzz when all is right in your world at the moment , you don’t know what you’re missing ! Yes I am a promoter of marijuana because it’s a natural , and the drug pharmaceutical companies are evil and that’s why it’s still illegal in most places around the world but we’re gonna continue to promote smoke and enjoy it and give a big old finger to the pharmaceutical companies and their soldiers that comes and breaks our door down and gives us a felony for possession of marijuana. Sad but it’s going to stop. You cannot get addicted to marijuana or overdose on marijuana, but you can on most pills that the pharmaceutical industry prescribes for you that’s going to help you so they tell you, but no, you’re gonna be way worse off when you start taking their pills ! Pink Floyd is kinda like the girl that took my virginity 😜 ! Floyd was the first band that gave me such an emotional and positive experience for my first time getting stoned. It was 1975 so that tells you what was going on in south east Alabama the home of fort Rucker the largest helicopter training center in the world. Weed helped me get over the death of my oldest brother and my brother in law who died in Vietnam may 6th 1969 and 1972 ! There was a lot of grief around the military base back then because there were so many people that got killed at a early age my brother, Wayne 21 years old my brother-in-law 25 years old ! Sorry for being so long winded but Pink Floyd has touched so many lives around the world in so many ways! Thanks for sharing this video with us out here in south east Alabama USA ☮️❤️

It’s Dave on tour not Pink Floyd. If you want to see Floyd play this song then you need to watch Pink Floyd the wall live. Or when they got together for one last time. You should check out Roger Waters the wall it’s pretty awesome

This was a great performance from David Gilmour, but, as has been said, you need to watch the Pink Floyd performance from the Pulse concert. After watching that, you should watch another performance that is rated one of the greatest by any band, that being Sultans of Swing by Dire Straits from the Alchemy concert.

Non scrivere nel titolo PINK FLOYD ma dato che è l'esibizione di uno soltanto della band , correggi per favore con DAVID GILMOUR CONFORTABLY NUMB LIVE AT POMPEII 2016

First of all you made a mistake this is not Pink Floyd this is David Gilmour by himself. Second deal if you want to see something that makes this performance of Comfortably Numb look like a kindergartener did it you need to check out the 1994 Pulse concert version of this song. At least that is 3/4 of Pink Floyd. This again is just David Gilmour by himself. It's still an adequate performance for a guy who's 70 years old but you really should see the one from 1994!!!
