The way that these Barbies items are worth something today is cool to me. And the Effort and detail, they put into toys back then😭

As a kid growing up we really didn’t have much but my parents always made sure I had at least 2 barbies. Right now (as a 20 year old woman) I would sit and play with those toys you guys have and be so extremely happy😂✋🏼

Hearing them name the collections instantly brings back the commercials that would always air!

Wow, watching this felt like a trip in a time machine. My sisters and I played with barbie all the time. We had the exact same Barbie Dreamhouse. We also had this party bus that was purple and had a disco ball. They were both second hand since our parents didn't have much money, but I remember loving those things. We also had a dollhouse that was half the size of the barbie house. We would use them as neighbors and play with both as if they were the same size. It's funny to think back on since the dolls from the doll house were half the size of barbie.

It’s so cool that you guys kept your toys from when you were little. I’m trying your grandmas salsa recipe today because it looks really good.❤

I remember i had a barbie hair salon. It had decorations, a working boom box, and the drawers would open and there would be a blow dryer and a curling iron. The curling iron if u plugged it into the fake outlet it turned red and i'd pretend it was heating up and the blowdryer did have a blow dryer sound to it. So weird that things like this retail for so much because in my day you could get that for like 20-30 bucks.

I loved seeing the homemade clothes for Ken! My grandmother loved Barbie and handmade us Barbie clothes growing up. My favorite was when she would hem our dance outfits and then would use the leftover fabric to make a matching dance out fit for the Barbie!!

I wished my parents kept my Barbie toys, but my niece got most of it so they are long gone. My sister and I grew up in the 90’s so most of our Barbies are from that era. We were obsessed with Barbie’s and played them all the time. We didn’t have a lot of the extra stuff like houses or planes, but we had a few cars, bikes and bunk beds. We had the McDonalds and Pizza Hut settings though too. Our favorite Barbies were the ones who elbows and knees bent too. Lol It just opened up a new realm of possibilities.
