Reason 7,493,291 why Tim is the best watch KZreadr - he color-coordinated his sportcoat with the Patek releases 😂 😂 😂
Nice to see Brian & Tim co-hosting...... reminded me years back when u guys will host on a regular basis. To me that is the original WatchBox era. Awesome show guys ❤
Always a fascinating show! You guys should do a show on the arc of modernization of Patek. There has been a stark break from the stogie traditional look to a more youthful bent. Definitely not the AP route but Patek has escaped the “Breguetification” of their lineup. As to say they have evolved yet still maintain their status as with older collectors.
The stamped calf strap is just cool. At first I thought they were cheaping out.
The 5738 is absolutely beautiful... one of the best pieces released at W&W this year. This video also reminds me I need to schedule my quarterly pilgrimage to Nineteen Sixteen so they don't forget I exist 😅
06:09: I love that little human charm between factual analytical lines:)
When it comes to high end watches Patek are my favourite brand as their watches are very classy looking.
5520P - 001 is not discontinued, it is still on the catalogue.

Me too
I would love to see a champagne dial on the rose gold 5270 with a bracelet
Please give us the scuttlebutt on Patek’s releases that are expected later this year.
Definitely a far too stuffy brand for myself, but I respect their history and what they do. Cool video
What do you think of the lack of yellow gold in Patek's current lineup, if I'm not mistaken it's only 2 models. I'd like to see them use more.
The new line will come in October.
8:20 GOD purples. And 18:22
Patek is merely a dream to me. However given its dedication to the art of horology; in the right circumstances they would be a worthy investment.
Just remember to never profit on your PP unless you're Sylvester Stallone. Utterly disingenuous.

100 times out of 100 I'll call NOT selling for profits utterly disingenious, even if PP ads been yr ABC
Patek Philippe is trying too hard to be youthful. More likely to get the focus away from the Nautilus and Aquanaut. Now Patek Philippe jumped on the hype before it got out of control with the Elipse. These were unwanted, undesirable, and use to be found at a bargain pre-owned. They noticed trendy collectors buying these vintage, used Elipse models. Patek instantly focused back on that model and up’s the price far beyond what it deserves. Still a great simple timeless design, but for the same price you can find more for the price with more complicated current models. Yeah that Perpetual Calendar with the UNIBROW is an eyesore.
