When someone like FF can get massive views while being offensive, when myspace and stickkam were around and people just sat around on webcam. KZread was used to share personal videos with families and it turned into this monster. He's talked about how weird it was (when it first happened) that people just like watching him play scary horror games, and how weird it was to talk to a camera. It was really kind of the birth of it all - all to say now its just gone to absolute shittake mushrooms.

Most people build walls when they get nervous or stressed out. Pewdiepie just smiles and laughs awkwardly, that is why he has done so well I think.

The fact that he's been going for over 10 years is awesome. He really made it. He went from poor with little space on his desk to a $40,000,000 net worth and an expensive gaming chair. He has a very good connection with his fanbase as well so it just makes this that much better. He even needed bodyguards/security next to him in Singapore. Pewdiepie is unmatched.
