It is great to see that you kept those project. I wish I did. My first project was also a scarf. It started at 6 inches. Then in the middle 8 inches. It ended at about 4 inches. I was increasing and decreasing without even knowing, LOL. I learned so much with that scarf. Thanks for sharing it took me back about 7 years.

Haha, you have to pretend it's an intentional design feature. Maybe it would be the next trend! And so true about how much we learn from that first project.
Thanks for sharing. My first crochet project was a small drawstring bag. I made it flat then slip st.joined it.

I really like your looking back to your first crochet projects. I just remember my first project, it was a white scrunchie that my mom taught me to crochet when I was 11. :') ahhh thank you for making me remember about that

Great first projects, Ms. Amanda! Oddly enough, the first crochet projects I remember making were also Angry Birds! Haha. I went the amigurumi route, though. I made a friend a red bird, blue bird, and pink bird
