With this video I learned that the Amputee General and Dragonlord had inoptimal runs back to the boss room after death. It's moments like this that I'm proper thrilled to always build a tanky character that can sustain through not knowing the mechanics at first and learning them in the first fight well enough to one-shot the boss, and thus avoiding having to re-run to them.

I think Emma actually got the Platinum trophy when her & Fanta were kickin some Elden Ring ass! Can’t wait to see her play the dlc!

9:15 During in my first playthrough, I struggled with Commander Niall in that castle. I ended up successfully using 2 Bewitching Branchs on the two knight summons and they pretty much won the fight for me. I was very lucky

I don't understand Max0r's digs at the US either. But in a previous video the on-screen text said "Brazil" when he entered Caelid and, yeah, seems pretty accurate.

I feel like if the closed captions are actually put there by a human being, then it's good to have them on, but whenever there's an (auto-generated) after them it's better to just leave them off because more often than not, they won't even be correct since it'll be just a program detecting the speech and trying to transcribe it into text.

should still go give him a view to make sure that it performs well seeing as this reaction is going up so close to the day he uploaded it. I'd hate to spend several months making a video and then a bunch of react channels immediately dilute the viewership. Transformative or not, i feel like vids should have a week to themselves before reactions can occur.

6:05 I'm with you. Making abominations isn't my thing, I don't think they are clever/funny. My characters are all hand crafted and I even try to come with stories behind of why they use the weapons/armor they do, as long with their personalities. For me every character deserve to be like that, otherwise isn't fun.

Hey Emma, when i first found your channel, I was looking for lets plays of dark souls 1. I found your playthrough and it was probably the most fun ive had with the game since I first played it. I had so much fun listening to you learn things, check wikis, and have fun the same way i did with it. :V

If you think this is good then I highly recommend Max0r's ultrakill series, it is equally as insane yet about a totally different style of game, a 10/10 piece of content.

Your point at 16:59 goes a long way to describing why I think it would be a mistake to put difficulty settings in the game. The reason your point is even possible is down to the shared experience. Everyone had the same tools. The same enemies to fight. The same terrain to navigate, all that. Introduce a difficulty slider and suddenly those who play on normal and those who play on easy no longer have a shared experience. It’d really dilute that community feeling of overcoming an immense struggle. And genuinely, fuck those people who act like they’re a better person because they can beat these games with little effort. Elden ring is the 6th fromsoftware title I’ve played, and for the overwhelming majority of veterans, your first playthrough involves you getting your cheeks clapped near constantly. Lol Experience only Carrie’s you so far. You’re still having to learn a whole new game even if you have experience with the style.

I hated the fire giant, because of how hard it is to predict his attacks, and after struggling a lot with him, I came to my final run, and for the last leg of the fight I had like two frames, I have no idea how I beat him to this day.

@@SyLuX636 oh no I beat him ages ago I'm just saying on my first run of Elden ring my frames dropped for the majority of the third phrase, and it was literally me fighting freeze frames of the fire giant.

It's nice to see a female youtuber that can actually keep up with one of Max0r's videos. A large number of the others tend to react like their epilepsy is being triggered from a slideshow.

I really want to say Max0r should get an opportunity to edit a huge project for a lot of money, like a movie or series, because he's so talented and deserves it. But like, can you really think of anything he could do that would retain his unique style other than his own videos? The colorful, quick-cutting, ADHD style he has really doesn't fit in anything other than a Max0r video. In anything else, working alongside other creatives, I feel like it would lose a lot of what makes it so special.

As an experienced Souls player, things are harder than they need to be because people aren't cautious enough. Plus a good shield trivializes most of the game 😂. Having characters that just use daggers and just fist weapons have been an interesting challenge. And ranged tools help lure enemies away from each other when stealth isn't a good initial option for the regular mobs. And people have found out that the godskin bosses can be cheesed with sleep status. Though when you have everything for a true stealth build, it makes the game feel too peaceful and a bit like Assassin's Creed

Even the most pretty characters you can make in from software games are still ugly compared to most other video games.
