Bloodborne is a 2015 action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 4. Bloodborne follows the player's character, a Hunter, through the decrepit Gothic, Victorian-era-inspired city of Yharnam, whose inhabitants are afflicted with a blood-borne disease. Attempting to find the source of the plague, the player's character unravels the city's mysteries while fighting beasts and cosmic beings.
The game is played from a third-person perspective. Players control a customizable protagonist, and the gameplay is focused on strategic weapons-based combat and exploration. Players battle varied enemies while using items such as swords and firearms, exploring different locations, interacting with non-player characters, and unravelling the city's mysteries. Bloodborne began development in 2012 under the working title of Project Beast. Bearing many similarities to the Souls series of games by the same developer and director, Bloodborne was inspired by the literary works of authors H. P. Lovecraft and Bram Stoker and the architectural design of real-world locations in countries such as Romania, the Czech Republic and Scotland.

@@Emmalition His editing has evolved quite a lot between this video and his Elden Ring videos. An important thing to note is that the pace of his videos have been toned down some so you'll be able to keep up with some of the jokes and references while his editing has improved leaps and bounds and he's started bringing in some well known youtubers with a comedic style similar to his own to do voice over roles. He even managed to get two well known vtubers, Ironmouse and Pippa Pipkin, to do voice acting roles in his most recent videos.

A big long chain wrapped in barbed wire with handles on each end so you can hold it with both hands and flail it around. Its a strength-based weapon and you can squeeze the chain down inbetween the handles, attach the whole thing to a metal rod on your back and you have something that resembles a big two-sided hammer you can hold with one hand. 9:15 EXACTLY!!!! The Lands Between LITERALLY stands for the Lands Between all of the Souls games!! That’s how I interpreted it! That’s why we can meet other characters from other souls games like Yura! His description basically says he’s from the world of Sekiro where the Demon had caused bloodshed though the country (one of the endings) As well as Drake knight Fyke, he is literally the knight from the first Dark Souls, that’s why he came to the Lands Between so early and was able to gain 2 Rings. There’s much many more examples as well 🤓 But I haven’t heard ANYONE talking about this theory 💯

7:49 well, I thought about it, putting all my creative power towards creating a new and exciting trick weapon for a potential Bloodborne 2, hear me out. Didn't think of a cool name to give it, so I'm just gonna give the description. It's a spear, not super long (more on why, in a minute), could be used with both one hand and two, the attacks in the spear mode are, well, piercing attacks like a regular spear, but as you combo, the moveset delves into slashing attacks, and also blunting attacks using the back of the spear as a bo staff. Then as it transforms, your character detaches the blade, therefore holding a bo staff in one hand, and a small/medium sized blade on the other (not as big as a sword, not as small as a dagger, somewhere in between), and the moveset becomes like a dance, blunting attacks with the bo staff that can easily break the enemies poise, combined with quick slashes using the blade. Even thought of the transforming attack for both forms, as the spear, your character slashes the enemy, then quickly after, hits them with the back of the spear, while detaching the blade, making it fly in the air, thanks to the momentum of the movement, then you catch it and go from there, same thing the other way around, character throws the blade in the air, does quick attacks with the staff, catches the blade with the top part of the staff and pierces the enemy. That's what I came up with😉

Yeah Bloodborne is pretty amazing and is the reason I got a PS4 on the same day it came out. I enjoyed the multiplayer, it worked really well most of the time. Kinda wished that video went a little more into the weapons cause they're all pretty crazy. The cane that we can start with is probably my favorite of the base game weapons. It's also the weapon I died to the most in PvP, even more than the Chikage, though not by much. Think the saw cleaver was hands down the most used weapon in the game, at least in my experience

  • @lionhunter1296

First of all great video, I love your reactions and videos! Secondly, I think I have an idea for a trick weapon. My idea would be a sword that can transform into a mace. BUT, and that's the cool part the blade is covered in poison because the sword sheath has poison on the inside! Furthermore, when you transform the weapen into a mace, imagine the mace like the Tonitrus only with spikes and also little holes, by leaving it in its sheath, the mace will not only do blunt damage, but will also create poison mist/little poison clouds that can also poison enemies. The poison mist will be set free when you for example do a fully charged heavy attack. That would at least be my idea of my own trick weapon 👍. I would be happy to know what you and the others think! Have a great day you all.

A serrated, machete type of blade(longer and chonkier than usual because bloodborne) that extends into a heavy glaive/halberd type weapon. 2. Powderkeg machete.. About your question with the outer gods and the Greater Will in Elden Ring. It's possible that the outer gods are meant similarly to Bloodborne's, which are more like eldritch horrors. But there are also theories with some solid arguments, that the outer gods are more like the japanese Kami. Kami are spirits that each govern a certain thing. So for example, Malenia suffering because of the outer god of scarlet rot, it could be that it's not a cosmic entity, but a spirit representing scarlet rot itself (possibly even decay as a whole). I'd absolutely recommend SmoughTown's channel where he explains a lot of the Elden Ring lore in such detail, that I even prefer him over Vaati. If you'd like to watch even more about lore, and would like to hear some wild and mindblowing theories that make a lot of sense, check out The Tarnished Archeologist channel as well :) Also, love this vid, gonna watch your ER playthrough right after your reactions to Max0r's vids about them :D

One of the funniest theories I've heard recently is that Elden Ring is the prequel to any of the souls universes. Like the Stars/Ranni ending leads to BloodBorne, the death fog ending leads to demon souls, and the chaos ending eventually leads to dark souls with the 'first flame'

My trick weapon idea: A pickaxe where the head comes off as dual fist spikes Full STR scaling, thrust/pierce dmg, small bleed maybe (fist mode only?)

If you're interested in some lore hot takes, I'd recommend the Edinburgh/Medical metaphor theory. It's not perfect, but it's a rabbit hole.

My trick weapon would probably be a chain weapon with a sycle on the end it would work like a whip but do pirecing damage and its second form would be a blood tinge that gives it longer range and changes the damge to slash

For some reason I keep watching more and more "reaction videos" even though I always feel annoyed when they pause the video I've seen, like, a dozen times by now. Then I feel annoyed at my unreasonable feeling of annoyance. Then I pause the video of the person who paused the video of the person who's doing the funny. Then I do a quick break and come back. I unpause the video and, tragically, the person in the video I paused hasn't unpaused the video I was annoyed they paused which caused me to pause the video of them pausing the video of the man doing the funny. You see where I'm going? It's a fucking demented cycle of me doing something stupid and being annoyed at myself for doing it and then coming back to do it all over again. Truly, the Dark Souls of IRL experiences. Now, back to the video. (Sorry for the schizo meltdown)

Wait wait wait wait wait WAIT so...so...you're just realizing just now that we watch for the pain and misery? I love when someone straight up has to end their streaming session without having beat the boss like "ok I guess we'll try again tomorrow" like "aaaaah we're still going boys we're still in it" and then when you finally DO beat it, it's genuinely disappointing. A little part of me dies when a streamer finishes a boss and says something like "well that wasn't so bad"

Saying that the Lands Between are between London and Birmingham was the funniest shit I've heard in a while. Hopefully the Shadow of the Erdtree takes us to Birmingham, and they eventually remaster London for PC.

His title called "Sentient editor machine" his edit is beyond insanity, recommend next is Yakuza, Devil May Cry 5 (have 2 parts) also from Max0r. The jokes usually either inside joke of him, that game or related to others games so if you dont know and hear it out of context sound very weird bc his mind is so tangable of unrelated context together but somehow related so go with it.

The reason we enjoyed your Micolash video is because, for those who played bloodborne anyway, is becuase we want others to share our suffering.

There is actually a very, very, very easy way to get Micholash in the rooms. 1st room: Run him to the door via the left or right (upstairs/downstairs) direction. Then once there, stop following and go back to the far area and come down the center path. He will go in. Doing it this way takes only seconds. 2nd Room: Chase him upstairs till he goes into the mirror, then while up there, look for a room to drop down next to him and force him in the room. (The poison knife trick no longer works, so don't try it)

Want to know a fun fact about Orphan of Kos? His english name is somewhat mistranslated. To our ears, it is. You see, when we hear "orphan," we think offspring. But it turns out, the original Japanese kanji for Orphan of Kos used phrasing that would more closely translate it to "Will of Kos," or "Revenant of Kos." Essentially, a lingering will of a dead spirit, full of wrath and vengeance. So, it turns out, the Orphan of Kos is not meant to be perceived as Kos's unborn child in of itself, but rather, the child's own rage towards those who killed its mother. It was he who uttered that curse as you transport to the DLC with his dying breaths. And the boss we fight is not supposed to be the child itself, but rather his personified rage. I think that's why it looks human

Trick weapon A sword where the handle goes up through the hilt and the center of the blade so then you transform it, the crossguard and blade slide up to the end of the handle and it becomes a giant spear.

If I had to make my own Trick Weapon, it would be a Machete. This Machete would match the Saw Cleaver in speed. It would have Bloodletting Damage in the main mode aside from physical Slash and Blunt damage. However, it would have a second mode where the blade splits open into two, but unlike the Blades of Mercy, this would instead reveal a spike in the middle, allowing you to use it like a Rapier for quick stabs for high Thrust Damage. A special attack occurs when you: A. Do a full heavy combo. B. Use a Transform attack combo. C. Use a charged heavy attack. These three (in Rapier mode) would result in the blades clamping back together in to the Machete, like Hedge Trimmers. In Machete mode, the same three conditions result in a lunging thrust with the Rapier, like a spear. I'd call it the "Feral Toothpick".
