Reacting to Kendrick Lamar's The Pop Out: Ken & Friends | Rap Life Review
Музыка
In this week's episode of Rap Life Review, Ebro, Eddie, Nadeska, and Lowkey dive into the hottest new music from Ice Spice, Don Toliver, and more.
The group then dove into Kendrick Lamar's recent concert, "The Pop Out: Ken & Friends" on Juneteenth in Los Angeles at the Forum. The concert included performances from LA natives like YG, Tyler The Creator, and, of course, Kendrick Lamar. Eddie describes the concert as a huge uplifting moment for the whole city of Los Angeles, after the hardships of losing legends Nipsey Hussle and Kobe Bryant. The group also touches on Kendrick's new music for "Not Like Us" and where Drake stands in this situation.

Right. It's Kendrick and the creative minds that he works with who are responsible for The Pop Out. Other rappers would have taken their W in the beef and used it to promote themselves. Kendrick used this win to share/shine the spotlight on West Coast artists.

Hey ebro you nailed what this beef was really about and the response you got "that the majority of people tuning in don't care" is also right. But that does not take away anything from the real life consequences of the black culture aspect of hip hop that kendrick was actually talking about and that it won't be so easy for the white corporate music america to manufacture and make way for a new culture vulture like drake in the future. EBRO was on POINT!!! I stand & agree with EVERYTHING Ebro said .... REAL SHIT!! Drake and the others def think that acting black is a costume... FOH!! Everybody wants to be black until its time to BE BLACK!! The color of our skin doesn't say who we are other than our heritage, as it is who we are as people which really matters! 🎯
Only one of these rappers been hating the other since 2013. The only credit Aubrey deserves is for having the delusional confidence to think he would be able to go toe to toe with the certified boogeyman
I like how they can't say AMAZON PRIME VIDEO. How Apple Music fumble the bag?
I dont think Kendrick needed drake for “inspiration” drake clearly disrespected Kendrick’s family, his closest friends and on top of that that whole AI Tupac and snoop. Drake disrespected so Kendrick responds. It’s that simple.
Ik Ebro was gon come back and get them in check 😂😂😂
Would the narrative be Thanks Kendrick for motivating Drake to drop his next great album?

It already is a narrative. Just like thanks Pusha T for making Drake a better father. Did y'all forget that already

R.I.P Aubrey.... That wake was crazy though
Keep making me dance wave my hand and it won't be no threat😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Kendrick been popping from way back when, winning 17 Grammys, 1 Primetime Emmy award, Brit award, 4 American music award, 6 Billboard award,11 MTV music award and 29 BET hip-hop awards, and all kinds of accolades throughout his career, they think Kendrick is a newbie or something? Are these people dence or something? Are they stupid or dumb?. We're not gonna start to make up all kinds of weird fabricated lies on this weird new "throw dirt on Kendrick's image" campaign that they have going on, we're not gonna start doing that when Kendrick has been popping for years, they are looking very desperate and will say and make up just about anything that they can to throw dirt on this man's name and legacy.
Great show!!!
The video is going to drop either on July 1st as another f*$k you lolol because thats Canada Day. Or July 4, to coincide with "independence day" that's my bet lol

But everyone gonna be out.. but I guess we’re gonna run to it regardless of what we’re doing lol
Kendrick didn't need inspiration from Drake!! What could he really do to inspire him??? I'll wait..... Kendrick is his own man and walks to his own beat. He is a true lyricist!!! No need for ghost writers and doesn't just make music just to make it.
Ebro said it best ! Kendrick doesn’t hate Drake .. Kendrick hate what Drake represents.. Kendrick wanted a friendly fade but Drake took it real personal by calling out his wife and kids and Kendrick best friend ! That’s why Kendrick went personal with Drake and body drake badly ! Drake asked for this and costed this for himself … Kendrick warned multiple times too
Great,show folks..👏👏
FINALLY!!!
We must talk more about black cutlural, and KDOT is for the black community more than drake! lets set the record straight
This video is a true gem! A wellspring of inspiration for life! -- "Life is an intricate masterpiece; embrace its colors.."
