I am literally seeing the similarities between Palestine’s struggle against Israel and Algeria’s struggle against France. The Algerians witnessed a brutal 132 year or so long occupation of their lands, and it took them an 8 year long war of independence against the French from 1954-1962 known as the Algerian war, it was the French military against the FLN or Algerian liberation front. The Algerians eventually gained their independence, but the war costed the lives of around 1 million Algerians and millions more were killed in the years before during the colonial times, this is why Algeria is known today as “the land of one million martyrs”. Hell there are even similarities to what happened in Rhodesia, South Africa and Namibia during the Cold War, Namibia was known as southwest African and was under South African control during the apartheid years while Rhodesia is basically modern day Zimbabwe.

The lady who re-translated didn’t translate some things correctly. I didn’t understand everything but there are parts where the old lady says “yahud” but the new subtitles said “Israelis”…. Those are different things

In Palestine they refer to Israel as yahud (Jewish) because they don't recognize the colonized people who took their land as a country.

those IDF soldiers are so brave, they were able to conquer few hospitals (whom their residents are from the sick and injured) and some schools whom the residents are using them as shelters since their homes were bombed and they have no other place to go to with what was left of their families . i really admire the IDF army for such a heroic act
