As a medic main, i get emotional everytime my heavy dies before i can uber them

Something to note Level 1 teleporter- 10 seconds to recharge Level 2- 5 seconds Level 3- 3 seconds

In the middle of a match the wait times feel more like Lv1- Eternity Lv2- Forever Lv3- Barely tolerable

The level 2 to level 3 isn't very crucial, those 2 seconds are nice, but aren't often a game changer. Level 1 to level 2 on the other hand, changes to teleporter from something that has a negligible impact into a game winning tool. The difference between a level 1 and level 2 teleporter can best be seen in a hypothetical case where everyone wants to take the tele and no one walks to the front lines. For the level 2 tele, this isn't the biggest issue. If multiple people die around the same time, there is going to be a bit of a waiting line, but there is generally enough time between respawns that the waiting line should be gone by the time the next big group of people dies. Then there is the level 1 tele... in most casual games, you can expect the average time between respawns to be less than 10 seconds. As a result, the waiting line will keep growing until a point where everyone will be waiting at the tele, someone takes it, is alone on the front lines and dies within 10 seconds, and is sent back to the waiting line.

Sandvich is an item for heavy that replaces his shotgun. There's other food items for him too that have their own effects.

Dalokohs Bar and Fishcake: Heals 100 hp, recharges in just 10 seconds, acts as a small hp kit for teammates, and gives Heavy a +50 hp bonus to his maximum. Perfect for support Heavy. Second Banana: Heals around half of Heavy's hp, recharges between 15-20 seconds, small hp for teammates. Middle ground between Sandvich and Dalokohs. Sandvich: Heals 300 hp, acts as a medium hp kit, 30 second recharge. Mainly for solo or duo Heavys. Buffalo Steak: When eaten, you only use melee but gain a speed increase and mini critical strikes for around 30 seconds. Forgot how long the recharge is. Small hp kit when thrown. Usually for Heavy Boxer playstyles.

These assets don't have to be pulled from the game to animate, they're the default assets of Source Filmmaker

8:20 If you're an engineer, at least make sure your teleport is level 2. It changes a lot.

He doesn't rip the assets from team fortress 2, valve just gives the community the assets and some dev tools and say "have fun!" and this gives their games so much more longevity than any other studio who doesn't do this.

It's almost like all heavies have a spiritual bond with their medics.

No on account of "possible mayo", too vague of an ingredient. I can stomach mayo or any sort of... alternatives, but I'm not one for mystery condoments.

Fun Fact: dispait heavy being the face of TF2 hes one of the lest played classes in the game beacuse of how punishing and hard he is to play, the most played classes are spy and soldier, spy beacuse most new players that dont look up anything about the game think that hes really cool and intersting but hes considerd the weakest and hardest out if the 9 classes (do to spy being easyer to counter the more skilled someone is, not to minsson the amount of bugs that he has, how pyro hard counters him etc), meanwhile soldier is one of the most easy to learn and play being pretty forgiving to play and fun to master.

which is kinda weird since heavy is one of the stronger classes when fielded in numbers greater than one. like the worst situation a heavy can be in, is being alone. heavy needs team support like, a medic to heal him, so he doesn't have to slowly lumber towards a health pack every two minutes, he needs a pyro to keep spies away, especially once the heavy gets busy actually fighting the enemy team, he needs counter snipers or scouts to at least generate a fear environment for the enemy sniper so he can't just camp on you, he needs soldier or demo to cover his approach etc. or he could just have a second heavy. because suddenly one heavy can always watch the flanks and the back line, they can give each other sandwiches, landing head shots becomes doubly difficult when you're flinching from two miniguns firing at you and they can easily cover each others approach as long as the moving heavy doesn't run in front of the spun up heavy like an idiot and if one heavy dies, the other can at least hold the line until the other one is back to continue the push. and the more heavies there are, the stronger each individual becomes, this is why heavies are one of the strongest classes in class wars, only demos and engineers kinda stand a chance and spies and snipers almost always loose that match up, even when half the heavies decide to play fat scout for funsies.

I'd say Spy and Scout are probably the most punishing to play if you are new to the game. Heavy is a beginner friendly class when he has good support, but Heavy without much support is one of the trickiest classes to play at any level of play. Heavy is also a low pick-rate class because he is shallow mechanically. Most classes have some advanced and flashy techniques to learn once you master the basics, but Heavy is almost a pure basics character. The only "tech" he really has is jumping before revving, and that is easily mastered. Once you got that down, all you can do is micro-improvements in your positioning / aim. On top of this, his sub-classes and unlocks are also boring / under powered. He's simply put the most shallow class in the game. And it's why the community is yearning so much for a "heavy update" where balance changes and new weapons bring some spice to the character. Even a simple buff to the buffalo steak sandvich would make Heavy a class I would play a lot more in casual.

@@iminumst7827 heavy has a lot of decent side grades, problem is just that many of them either don't change his play style a lot (like the tomislav, which needs a complete rework in my mind because the design is all over the place) or they are considered sub optimal by the player base because they're stuck in the "mini-gun/tomislav+sandwich/banana/fists of steel" box that they rarely stray from. for example if you're looking for a great way to mix up your heavy play style and surprise everyone, use the GRU offensively. nobody sees it coming and it's a great tool in your arsenal, since they don't mark you for death anymore. literally the best counter to vaccinator medics.

@@windhelmguard5295 yea there isnt really any time stacking heavys is a bad idea, in casual stacking heavys in defence or attack is good for the reasons you said, the biggest exsample of that is in class wars, in class wars if a team gets heavy thats it you either won the game or lost it, and in MvM four heavys one engi and one medic is one of the best cheese strats that i know, need crowd control?, bullet pen and sentry, theres a tank?, equip the bear heavy set (laterly the only time you should do so) and let the engi and two other heavys deal with the bots, it isnt that heavy is bad or anything, its just that hes boreing to play, there isnt much you can do with heavy other then just shoot at people, shoot people better ,and better position your self to shoot people even better.

Spy's aren't even the problem You can literally just turn around by getting a good sense of the current spies, any good heavy will make spy's life hell. You are slow and your combat consists of minimal movement while shooting at things, you have plenty of concentration left for spies. Whenever you start revving up you should assume someone is behind you and turn around before committing to a fight and your team mates can guard your back. It is that simple The real issue is sniper. Sniper as a whole is problematic, being able to instakill anyone with a single click is nuts and the ONLY limiting factor is a player's skill, so every sniper is a roulette of "will this match be fun for me or the sniper?" But heavy is so slow that you don't even need the skill to hit him, any sniper presence means heavy has to hide and pray until someone can get the sniper. But even then that is if the sniper is unguarded, none of the classes equipped to deal with a sniper can hold their own against more than 1 enemy. So if the sniper moves with his team, he is untouchable. "But other snipers can kill him!" That would require the sniper to have someone tanking the front, but with the heavy dead for being in the open for more than a whole second and the rest of your team falling like domino pieces, that's not a thing.

He's able to pull assets from TF2 because of source filmmaker. It has all the assets from any source game you own, as well as millions of others from the community workshop.

Sidenote for this series if you don't already know, engineer, sniper, pyro and demo all have important part 2's to them (labeled as extras, engineers extra is specifcally called how it feels to suffer in SFM and is a lot less about engineer and more about the pain lazy goes through making these.)

all base assets of TF2 are pre-loaded into Source FilmMaker (though it's a 2008 version of the game) the only assets that don't come with Source FilmMaker are almost all of the cosmetic items (festivizers are also pre-loaded) Any asset that isn't part of SFM is added by the community in the steam workshop

Another thing Lazy should've mentioned is that Heavy with his 300 health compared to everyone else who are 125-200 base health makes slightly tankier, HOWEVER you will soon learn that the Random Critical Hit mechanic (which amplifies your damage by x3) will shred a poor heavy easily. For example, Demoman's grenade launcher does 100 damage total when hit directly, but a rng pill will do a full 300 damage, wiping Heavy off the face of the battlefield. So whether or not you like rng, Heavy becomes a sandbag for people to punch on. Stick with your team and you should manage. As a heavy main I can't stress this enough.

Lot of people are confused about the TF2 cosmetics. They are just wearable cosmetics that any player can buy and wear. Some of them even have visual effects, but they are expensive.

Since you started liking heavy and SFM animations, you would LOVE "Pootis Engage" and the follow-up "Pootis Extram" it really takes SFM to it's limits and beound👌👌👌

Engineer have 200 metal. He can build sentry(mini-sentry if he has special wrench) , dispenser, teleporter entrance and teleporter exit using his building PDA . You can get metal from resupply cabinet at your spawn, ammo packs, dispencers and carts(objective on some maps). Each building but mini-sentry can be updated UpTo level 3. Building a sentry costs 130 metal, mini-sentry and dispenser are 100 metal and teleporters are 50 metal(25 with another special wrench). Sentry is massive area denial building with autoaim that has minigun on lvl 1, shoots faster at lvl 2 and has rockets at lvl 3. Dispenser is supportive building that heals players and recharges ammo and metal. Each level rises speed of healing and recharging. Teleport, as we saw, teleports players from it's entrance to it's exit All updates costs 200 metal/level(50% discount for teleporters with special wrench). Mini-sentry can't be updated And, if you ever decide to actually play this game, I can be your medic, if you wish, find me, Lucky_Bambr on steam
