I agree with you when you said that it seemed like something from Odds&Ends and that it felt like it had been recorded in 3 separate parts which made it seem a bit more uncohesive. To me it missed another verse and it missed a part where a stronger beat would come in, where everything would climax. It felt very simplistic, going off of Dido’s stripped back latest era. Pretty sure she did the vocals in one take. It’s nice because it gives her visibility to a younger generation to research her and get into her music which could catapult her back somewhat into the limelight again. I’m glad we heard from her again though, I was fearing it would just be a used sample (like Stan) and we would not be listening to something new. I guess that’s what you get excited about when she disappears for 4 years 😭 Dido is not a one hit wonder, she’s just doing her own thing outside of what the mainstream is doing and because of that she doesn’t get the exposure that she deserves. She’s unfortunately fallen into that category of nostalgia acts alongside the likes of Anastacia, Natasha Bedingfield, Natalie Imbruglia, Nelly Furtado, etc and the labels don’t see interest in making them mainstream again when younger fresher artists are here. It’s the wheel of the business unfortunately.

¡Veo muchas críticas sobre Dido! No sé dónde está el problema. Ella presentó un clip musical maravilloso y con su hermosa voz le agregó algo especial a la canción. Dido participó en la actuación, y no con la condición de que estuviera presente en un clip grande, porque ella no es el dueño de la canción. Hasta pronto Reina Dido, eres la mejor de todos los tiempos.

La que canta al principio es Grimes y los vocales de fondo también y lo demás el coro es Dido

Estoy de acuerdo contigo al 100%. Creo que la decepcion q tenemos es q nos gusta Dido mucho, letras, voz... Trniamos grandes expectativas y ansia por escuchar a Dido en algo nuevo y esto evidentemente se quedó corto. Ella vale más que toda?esta grnte... No puedo ser imparcial. Escucho a Dido desde hace años. Toda su discografia me encanta incluso me ha motivado a aprender a tocar la guitarra acústica. ❤ Ojalá nos regale música propia y muy pronto.

I will get the song and trim it so that the other two voices are cut out and edit Dido's parts together. Dido's voice is the only one I care about. The music itself is awful. Too fast and electronic for me, until the very tail end when it slows down with Dido. I was surprised to hear you say that Dido is considered a one-hit wonder. Here in the US she's always done well. I hear in her native England, not so much. I think 'No Angel' was released here first. Thank you for this channel, I love it! ❤
