I've seen Dimash playing piano, drums, xylophone, guitar and dombra. I've even seen him take a stab at the harp. "Adaii/Daididau" (Bastau 2017) is where Dimash is seen rockin' the house with his up-tempo dombra play along with 100 other dombra players, plus an emotional vocal performance that left him nearly in tears.

Dimash is also a fantastic pianist, he plays 6 instruments. Dimash was winning piano competitions at the age of 6. He was tuning pianos at the age of 5.

Dimash plays at least 7 instruments and probably has a working knowledge of many others. He is keyboardist/piano, drums, dombra, guitar and others.

I love this. Dimash puts just the right touch on it....especially the vocals at the end. Beautiful collaboration. Dimash plays many instruments but doesnt claim to be of professional standard at any of them. His bar is high for himself. The Dombra he grew up with si ce toddler.

Renat is a wonderful composer. Dimash plays 8 instruments, featured here is the dombra. He also plays piano, drums, guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, marimba (like a xylophone), and a bayan (which is like an accordion) and probably more. He very humble as he says he's not a professional instrumentalist, but I guess if you compare his vocal talent to his instrument playing, that might be true.

He also did the percussion oin the background. He plays the piano really well too. He was taught from a very young age. When he was 5 he told his teacher the piano needed tuning! He was right, of course 😊❤

He plays lots of instruments but says he isn’t professional as he doesn’t practice every day as a true musician would. I believe he had piano lessons, but things like drums and guitar, he taught himself. The dombra that he is playing is called Dombra. Many children learn dombra and many of Dimash’s family play that. Dimash plays instruments at his concerts, mainly as a jam at the end.
