I just saw a small a small clip of dimash as a baby sitting on the floor with this instrument the “Dobra”:on his lap. He was raised by his grandparents and evidently there was no restraint in his upbringing in the arts. His grandmother enrolled him at 5 in the music academy university at 5. He was singing on stage at 5 and won his first piano contest at 5. Dimash was a vocal prodigy. But not just this talent Dimash was a prodigy at many talents, swimming, martial arts, vocals, plays 8 instruments, sings in 12 languages. Can imagine being his grandparents andnhaving him in lessons for piano and you’re in the other room and you hear dimash playing some new instrument. These genius children have to be guided and nutured. Dimash at 12, 13, 14 years tried out for a vocal competition and lost at the auditions and was turned away. At 15 he tried again and was excepted into the competition and won it. The prize was a scholarship to the university. His parents didn’t know he had done this. He did this of his own accord. Many people have vocal prowess. Many people have opportunities. But dimash was helped by guidance, genetics (both parents were opera and pop singers with his dad being a producer), and he also chose his path with entering competitions and taking lessons and practicing on his own. All the men in his country play the Dobra you see him with here. He brought about 100 men Dobra players to one of his concerts on stage in khazakastani costumes and played for the audience with himself at the front playing too. There is no singer in the world at dimash age that brings as much education and experience to the music world as dimash. He has paid his dues. Do you thing Arianna Grande with her high range from the world of Disney was taught more than Dimash. Arianna in her high notes hurts your ears. Dimash never does that.

Dimash always surprises us. Here playing in dombra the melody composed by Renat Gaissin (keyboards). I read that Gaissin was on a flight back to Kazakhstan in 2011, when he spotted a very long river that inspired him to start writing music right then and there. Currently, rehearsing he heard Dimash perform it in dombra and loved how he performed it. He reversed it and here is the result of this beautiful instrumental composition.

For those who love Dimash, another must see singer is Zhou Shen from China. Because of his small stature, feminine disposition and voice, he was often bullied in school. Never thinking that he had what it takes to be a singer, he went to the Ukraine to become a dentist. While there, he was convinced that he did have a great singing ability, thus transferred his major to music. Thank goodness he did. As an introduction into Zhou "Charlie" Shen, begin with his premiere performance on the Voice of China singing HuanYan. After this first video, move on to his versions of "Memory", and "Time to Say Goodbye". For something different from him, watch his version of "Ring the Doorbell", "Let It Go" and "Monsters". Last, but definitely not least (there is so much more from him), enjoy the videos, "This is Me" and a very unique and fun song (one of my favs) "Da La Beng Ba". His biggest success is the song "Big Fish". While Dimash is the best singer in the world, Zhou Shen replicates many of Dimash's qualities and even surpasses Dimash in some skills, such as number of languages and diversity of genres. While I will always love listening to Dimash, it is amazing to see the exposure that other marvelous singers, such as Zhou Shen, Marcelito Pomoy, Sohyang, and Morissette Amon are getting on the world stage.

Thank you for the reaction. 💖 The dombra is a long-necked Kazakh and Bashkir lute and a musical string instrument. It is a popular instrument among Turkic communities in Central Asian countries such as Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Mongolia. The instrument differs slightly in different regions. The Kazakh dombyra has frets and is played by strumming with the hand or plucking each string individually, with an occasional tap on the main surface of the instrument. While the strings are traditionally made of sinew, modern dombras are usually produced using nylon strings. P. S. You could try react to Dimash's "Samaltau" from "Tokyo Jazz Festival" 2020: kzread.info/dash/bejne/h6qBtM2iidiZetY.html

You said he has a gift from God. His real name is Dimashali which means Gift from Allah. Most commonly translated into English as Gift from God. His mansion (new house) was just recently completed and the Islamic Cleric and very close family and friends came over to bless his new home and to bless Dimash. I realized as I watched the short video clip of it, that Christianity has lost so much Biblical understanding and has failed in blessing their children and their good endeavors. What does Romans say? Bless and curse not". The family of Dimash practice this to the maximum. There are musicians in Kazakhstan and Russia who have done everything in their power to destroy Dimash. They are overt about it. So what did Dimash do? When he planned the additional entertainment for his US concert in 2019, he gathered all of his adversaries and paid for them to come with him to NY. While he was resting between sets, they were on stage entertaining the Dears who came to hear Dimash. He paid them and gave them the experience of their lives. Never once did he comes against them nor did he say one bad word about them...he just blessed them. He is highly philanthropic and it has leaked out the millions he has given to help those in need. He does not like these things to be spoken of but people who know, talk.
