Ha una voce meravigliosa ma il testo di questa canzone non è abbastanza forte per vincere Sanremo. Per me avrebbe dovuto vincerlo con “Il mondo prima di te”, sublime… Fu una vittoria rubata quell’anno! “La noia” è sicuramente un pezzo più interessante sotto ogni sfumatura, complice la penna di Madame che trasmette vere emozioni.

That cover was FANTASTIC we were all shocked it didn’t win. The effort, the thoughts she puts preparing this and then the delivering!! I can assure you when I saw this live on the tv the other night I screamed, in Italy we are not use to such grand performances! so I think you are not overreacting at all that was one of the best covers in Sanremo ever ❤ (LRDL also are very good, I recommend their entry to Sanremo 2021 “Amare”, such a stunning song)

On the fourth evening of the Sanremo Festival, dedicated to covers, Annalisa (singer) with La Representative di lista (singer) and the Artemia choir (choir), performs the song "Sweet dream (Are made of this)" by Eurythmics.

I completely agree with your impressions! Annalisa's voice and stage presence are simply unmatched. In my own musical journey, I've had the privilege to cross paths with Annalisa a few times, thanks to sharing the same vocal coach. These encounters have only increased my admiration for her unique talent. It was truly incredible to witness her performance at Sanremo 2024, especially with "Sinceramente" and "Sweet Dreams". The fact that she didn't win the cover night leaves me speechless, especially after the breathtaking show she put on with LA RAPPRESENTANTE DI LISTA and the choir. Your reaction is priceless. Seeing someone outside Italy loving and respecting Annalisa so much is just... special. I live in Ireland but I was visiting home when Sanremo was on and I watched the whole thing... it's such a huge event for us, but sometimes artists don't get the reactions they fully deserve, cause they might bring something new, more progressive or simply with a more International vibe, and sometimes they end up being misunderstood or overlooked. Annalisa presented a GREAT song, with an incredible stage presence. She didn't win, but she's winning the charts and definitely got a new fan here - as I didn't know her that well before this year. Her album "E poi siamo finiti nel vortice" is a brilliant one, full of catchy beats and interesting lyrics.

The Problem is that to win Sanremo you have to be a new artist. The winner each year is someone who is competing for the first time. Artists who compete multiple times never win.
