Reacting To American Girl's August 2023 New Releases- Disney Dolls, Birthstone & Claudie Wells
Last week, American Girl released the next wave of limited-edition collectors dolls and they are Disney princess themed. The birthstone outfit collection was also released and Claudie received some new items (but sadly was overshadowed by the other two releases). Originally, I filmed myself also reacting to the school new releases from last month, but the video was going to be almost half an hour, so I scrapped that section. Plus, I enjoy the August releases much more. Enjoy hearing my thoughts and opinions!

I love that they gave Rapunzel the braid with flowers instead of just leaving her hair down, it adds so much more to the look.

Thanks for sharing your opinions! I think the Disney dolls and Birthstone collection are all way too expensive, but Claudie's items are really nice. If I had Claudie, I would definitely be buying her the dress. How about an updated All My Dolls video? Looks like the last one was about a year ago and they're always really fun to watch. Thanks!!

I do have an all my dolls planned, but it takes a lot of time to make due to the amount of dolls I need to photograph and edit into the video. Hopefully I can post it before September since I have some free time

Rapunzel is def my fav, idk why but I’ve never been a fan of the face mold that Jasmine has😭I think when they change the mold too much it loses its “AGness” hahah. They start to look like a whole dif brand

For sure. I love the Sonali mold so much but the lashes ruin it and make it look like a completely new face

I would love for AG to release a Princess Leia or Shuri doll, they’re my favorite Disney princesses
The three of them are absolutely beautiful. I'm not a big disney fan so not investing. I do love rapunzel the best, that face mold and hair are so gorgeous.
I adore the rapunzel doll and I understand what you mean by the shoes looking cheap but also the entire movie rapunzel literally never wears shoes, at least not from my memory ahah so at least she’s not bear foot

I bought the jasmine one because she is my favorite Disney Princess and she is stunning, I got her the day it was for only berry members and she arrived last night (also most a week before it first said she would) and she is everything I wanted and more. My only thing is that the glitter on the headband and top gets everywhere. I thought that ag would have like sealed the glitter into the headband like they’ve done in the past or just used a non shedding type since it’s a 300 dollar doll. My ranking of them is Jasmine, belle, and then Rapunzel, but I love them all and if I had the money I probably would’ve gotten belle and maybe rapunzel.

I agree with you on the Disney dolls. I used to work at Disney and I thought for sure I'd be so tempted to get them. They're very pretty but not for me for that price. Rapunzel was so tempting though... for her super detailed outfit
I know this isn't realated to the video but I wanted to share it so maybe you could make a video about it or just think about it. A lot of people think that AG doesn't do the best with doing requests but I think there is a loop hole! So we know AG has a ton of stores around the US and commenting and leaving a review might be the best way for the AG company to see any requests. This was the case with a type of Spainish/Hispanic dress set made a few months ago. If you go to the Orlando AG store on Google and scroll through the 1-star reviews you might find someone asking for a dress and the owner of the AG store said they will tell the head about it and they did and we got the dress. Actually, almost every review had a reply from the owner so maybe if you have a huge request or somthing you want to happen you can do that. I'm not sure if everyone knows or if you made a video about it but I hope you get to see this! Also if anyone out there wants to do it please be consider it and respectful and only do it if it's an absolute need because we don't want to give AG bad reviews or annoy them so much! Anyways I love your content and keep going and have a great year! ❤❤❤

I saw the Rapunzel and immediately ordered, but back order so still waiting.
i love jasmine except i think the face mold they chose isn’t doing it.
I do love the Disney princess dolls! They look gorgeous. I ordered all three of them. I do love the eye lashes. In my opinion it makes their eyes pop. Love them. I also purchased all the Claudie outfits and they are so so so beautiful. I just adore Claudie so much. As for the birthstone collection I don’t like any of them at all. The orange one is the only one that looks good to me. Thank you so much for your awesome video. 💕

I do love a good monochrome look, but many of the pieces are too “out there” for my everyday doll style. See making the eyes pop is why I dislike the lashes. I feel like it makes the dolls look creepier since you notice their eyes more

imo Jasmine would look more movie accurate with the Corinne mold. if they wanted to do a Sonali mold they should've done Tiana or maybe live action Ariel. but that's just my 2 cents
Rapunzels doll eyes are pretty but completely the wrong color her eyes should be green
