The fact Dino + Cosmic Fury kept the Ryusoulger suits relevant for so long that it burnt Kezza out to the point where she doesn’t even wanna touch Ryusoulger is something that made me die inside a little, as a HUGE Ryusoulger fan :(

Jetman is well worth a watch. A bit darker than modern ones, like Liveman is. But I highly recommend it. Saikyo no Battle is only 4 episodes - and is a lead in to Ryusoulger. I think you should take the time to watch akibaranger as well, it's written for us fans and I find it hillarious.

Looking through this history of Super Sentai (again!) just reminds me about the development in creativity, excitement, balancing the theme of each series with the proper tune and the unique quality that every show had on the fans, both in Japan and globally. Personal note: DEFINITELY watch Kyuranger! 😁💫 Ever since the show's announcement, it fascinated me so much. This felt more like an anniversary season than Zyuohger did, because there were so many different story and character elements used in past Sentai that were all mixed in this one special season (though some parts landed more than others). The Kyuranger summer movie was also fun to watch, though 'Episode of Stinger' is the darkest bit this show has produced. All in all, i'd highly recommend to at least give it a shot! Maybe you'll feel 'lucky~!' that you did. 😉

I believe Go-Ongers or Gingaman was the first Sentai I was introduced to via toy reviews and I was 1yr old and the first Sentai Opening I heard was Go-Ongers, Shinkengers, Goseigers, Go-Busters, and Kyoryugers so these opening have a soft spot in my heart

Dairanger was the first Super Sentai I watched back in 2017 and I was amazed it will always be my favorite Sentai👍

When youtube had full episodes, i used to watch super sentai go onger, shinkenger, some of goseiger, and some gokaiger, oh! and dekaranger. My favorite theme song would have to be shinkenger and dekaranger 😊 Also, livemman should get a power rangers adaptation, official or fan made.

While Go-Busters is the first one to flat out have a brand new theme song half way through, other Sentai before did the second half of the theme song or an english version of the lyrics (I believe from Carranger through to Timeranger). Since Blade had a small controversy halfway through about one of the male actors being acused of being in pr0n before (I believe that was it, either that or it ended up being a look alike. It was a long time ago and I might be remembering the rumor wrong), and Hibiki having the whole director falling out and being replaced; most people speculate that either Go-Busters was severely underperforming behind the scenes, or that they were predicting some controversy that never saw the light of day.

I recorded my reaction to them all back in January and I STILL haven’t finished editing it😭

I genuinely can't believe that people didn't like Go-Busters. That's one of my top 3. It was so good, it was the most realistic of the sentai series

Fun little tit bit for two of these op's, Dekarangers and Shinkenger op were both done by the same artist Psychic Lover who also did the ending theme for boukenger and kiramai action he also did a revamp of shinkenger's op back in 2018

23:23 Gaoranger was going to be the INITIAL name for Gingaman but GaoGaiGar was riding the waves during that time so they went with Gingaman instead and used Gaoranger later

The all kamen rider openings video is just going to another hour plus long despite it featuring less tear drop helmet rider showa shows during it hiatus. A lot of side series like 90s direct to vhs movies, Amazon and black remake, and a wider range of modern music.

You know, I find it baffling that a lot of people don’t do reivew of older sentai shows on KZread, when you search on KZread you could find 2 or 3 reviews. The rest are just about reviewing the toys.

In Kakuranger, the white ranger was 16, but was played by a 13 year old

go busters was skipped due to low toy sales, i think? it was why toqger got skipped, and i think we all know that the networks see toy sales as the main measure of success, especially with tokusatsu shows like sentai, since toy sales are the main source of profit.

Also, you might gonna disappoint that Zenkaiser count as main and major Aka Ranger than Jyuran, even though his color was white like Big One but somehow his model representing Akaranger from Goranger.

Go buster is good, idk if you watch it or not. The show is good, I would say gekiranger and go buster is the blueprint of why kingohger is so good. Gekiranger having a crazy immortal villain that behind everything and gobuster having 5 ending like episode or moment. All 3 of them is my top 3 sentai (kingohger, geki, then go buster, with toqger and liveman as 4 and 5)
