You guys definitely have the right mindset going into this show. It's a good story but you have to go in expecting both extreme action, drama, and violence/gore mixed with absurd moments and humor.

This anime is insanely fun, and as huge music fans I think you’ll love this show. The creator loves music from all over the world and almost every character and power is named after a song, band, album, or at least a reference to one. Highly recommend
