My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.

@@AliAnimus when I was starting JoJo I also never expected body horror being such a prevalent theme there. I was familiar with anime only through memes and those never showed a hint of it; so contrast between such vibrant colors, humor, flamboyant poses, incredible fashion, themes of friendship, love, honor AND things that would put some modern horrors to shame was... well, bizarre so I guess Araki wasnt kidding when he named the show.

I'm watching Golden Wind right now, and almost every Episode, somebody is losing a body part or two. ....or three.... or four.........or thirty.

As a JoJo fan, I declare that these one-second frames are the funniest/weirdest moments from the episodes, and I may not notice that the video clip you watched does not have all the episodes, most likely this video is too old

I think it's actually better if they watch these clips before starting the anime, It's not like they can comprehend anything that's happening and it tells them all they need to know about how random the show is. A few other youtubers have reacted to meme videos before the anime and they're doing just fine.

The thing about Jojo is that it's not all strictly one genre. For example, part 4 is slice of life and other parts aren't. It's all horror themed, but the it's so over the top that it's often not that scary. It's also based on decades old manga that evolved as it went on. For example the drawing style. In first parts the characters are very muscular. Then they are drawn very androgynous and finally the style gets very realistic and artsy for the most part, making the inspiration drawn from fashion more obvious.

JoJo diehard fan, here. 1) The boobs handling was partially justified, as there was no horny intent behind it and that lady was just doing her job (not that kind of professional, don't worry). However, the other girl still wasn't very happy about it, and rightfully so, since she wasn't asked permission. 2) The tongue action isn't always too malicious, yet it's pretty much never justified, except the last guy who was just eating dirt. As you do. At least three of those were done on purpose by the villain to unsettle his victim. 3) Those tiny, flying yellow things are just yet another of those supernatural beings you've seen a lot of in the openings, usually standing besides the heroes and villains. I can't tell you any more about them. 4) The full scene of the three guys jumping that man on the floor is even funnier. 😂 The "2 seconds from every episode" video shows it in full, IIRC. 5) It's funny you mentioned prison, because while those at the beginning were rugby uniforms, one of the later seasons is about a prison break (as people have told you in the comments of the last JoJo video).

Story wise, every part is kinda different in terms of genre but thematically, Jojo's is about the will to live and all the battles are like puzzles set by fate to test the resolve of each character.

Its about a guy who fights his vampire brother using solar-kungfu but dies but then his grandson fights aztec/mayan mummies and cyborg nazis but lives ling enough for his vampiric grand-uncle to come back so he goes on a journey with his own grandson to kill the bastard in egypt using psychic ghost powers but then his bastard teenage son that he didn't know about finds out that his whole town has people with paychic ghost powers and one of them is a serial killer, meanwhile it turns out the vampire granduncle got busy and sired 4 sons, one of whom tries to take down the italian mafia (the members of which also have psychic ghosts) from the inside, but it turns out that among the people the vampire dude seduced, one of them was an african-american catholic priest who wants to rewrite the universe by putting the vampire's grear-great-great grandniece into a prison in florida.

The series is also well known for pushing translation copyright laws because of extensive use of western band names as names for characters and and abilities. Ex.( AC/DC, Queen, prince, Michael Jackson, and more)

Its a good series although yeah watching these isnt going to explain alot. "That was actually dope" Yes, that part is. It's heroes being silly. My favorite is part 3 onwards becasue the powers get bizarre and more personalized. A number of characters are references to musical people, groups or songs. For example get back by the beatles mentions Jojo which all the main protagonists names shorten to.

Yes. its totally worth watching. the memes are from some of the jokes and cool stuff in the show. but the whole shows over arching plots are actually quite good. Its a pretty golden classic.
