Yes five. High Tenor is Austin Brown, Lead Tenor is Rob Lundquist, Beatboxer is Adam Rupp, Baritone is Adam Chance, and Bass is Tim Foust. Adam was harmony this song so he provided the beat with his hands.

Home Free is (as you guessed) a Country Acapella group. It currently consists of 5 members: Tim Foust- Bass (first one singing in this video) he has a 5 octave range. Adam Chance- Bass & Baritone (second one singing). Rob Lundquist- Tenor 2 (3rd singer...with the beard). Austin Brown- Tenor 1. And Adam Rupp- Beatbox and Tenor 2. Older videos do not have Adam Chance at Baritone, he's the newest member. The original Baritone was Chris Rupp (he wears a hat in most videos.

Home Free is....sort of a country group, its more that they add a country twist to what they sing. The first guy is their base, the third guy is their tenor. I've heard a few people say they don't like country but they like Home Free, maybe you'll be one of them.

Home Free won the same singing contest the year after Pentatonix (The Sing Off). Their professionalism is beyond compare (even better pitch consistency than Pentatonix IMHO). Their bass (Tim Foust) has a phenomenal range and probably lower deep end than Avi. If you want to hear AMAZING vocals coupled with an eye-popping location (and gorgeous drone cinematography) I highly recommend their arrangement of How Great Thou Art. Its way up there in my top videos of all time. There are many PTX and HF "crossover" fans. The groups know each other as Pentatonix came and visited The Sing Off while they were competing.

They are the greatest A ccapella group ever I like PTX and voice play but home free have the greatest harmonies and they have a great sense of humour you judge them on one song. I was not into country per se but they are an in their own league you have to hear a number of their songs top appreciate their range I listen to them all day at home in the car so hope you give them more of a chance

Welcome to the world of Home Free. They don't just do country, but, yes they are a country group. They do originals and covers. Some of their more fun videos: 'Butts Remix,' 'All About The Bass.' and 'Countrified Pop Medley.' You may also like 'Mayday' and 'How Great Thou Art.' Their two basses have a 4 and 5 octave range. You'll probably like the voice of their high tenor who takes the lead in a lot of their songs, but, didn't in this one. Yes... PLEASE check more. You might be converted into a Home Free fan... a Home Fry.

For a non-country fan who loves harmonies, try Home Free’s cover of Mayday, which is closer to pop than country. Also (and this is coming from an agnostic), their How Great Thou Art is simply gorgeous, both in its sublime harmonies and in the video’s setting (Austrian Alps).

Home Free is very different kind of country group. I actually dislike putting the country label on them because they are so much more than that. You have no idea how many people will say I don't like country but I like Home Free--me included. I think part of it is because they are acapella and partly because they infuse so many different beats to their music. Giving country songs a newer fresher sound and when they cover pop song they infuse a bit of county into them. Background the guy who opened in this song name is Tim Foust, sometimes called "the beast" or "the voice" because although technically the bass of the group he has a 5+ octave range and can and has sung baritone or tenor. The 2nd one to sing was Adam Chance the baritone (4-octave range). He only joined the group in 2016 after one of the founders of HF (Chris Rupp) left to pursue a solo career. The one whose voice you loved name is Rob Lundquist(tenor), he has one of the purest sweetest tones I've ever heard. Their high tenor's name is Austin Brown. He has some mad vocal skills doing riffs, runs and even yodeling. Lastly, there is the remaining founding member Adam Rupp the beatboxer who I swear has a metronome in his head & sounds more like a drum set than a drum set. (among other instruments/sounds in his repertoire). These 5 guys have so much talent individually but when they harmonize it's just a piece of heaven. Try reacting to Thinking out loud/let's get it on or Blue ain't your color ( Rob sings lead and it has a Motown feel).

Home Free is a Country "Based" A Capella group. They have covered many Pop songs in the last few years and put their own twist on them. Some suggestions for Pop songs they have done that are amazing are: Bye Bye Bye (NSYNC cover) Castle on the Hill ( Ed Shearin cover) Wake me Up (Avecii cover) and many more Listen to them and be impressed!! In the Blood is a Pop song ballad, by the way. They have 4 world class voices and all of them have amazing range. The Bass and Baritone have 5 and 4 octave range, respectively.

Thanks for the Home Free reaction. I never used to like country but as I've been exposed to more of it I've found there is quite a bit I do like. The "3rd guy" whose voice you liked is named Rob Lundquist and yes he has a beautiful tenor voice.

Home Free was the Season 4 winners of "The Sing-off" the season after PTX. There are 5 of them and the guy you said has a strong voice (Tim Foust) also has a huge range. I would check out Ring of fire ft Avi Kaplan, it shows off the lows. A more fun upbeat cover would be "Honey, I'm good-Andy Grammer Home Free cover", the guy with the mid-range voice ( Rob Lundquist) is the front man for this one. They do have a Tenor or high tenor (i don't know the proper name for it) Austin Brown, who has a beautiful voice. One more suggestion would be their cover of Mayday by Cam, which shows off all of them. As you said, give them a few more tries to really get a good listen to them... even with the country feel for their voices :)

Hey Nattering! I am not a country music fan, but these guys are my favorite band lately. Not all of their songs have as much as a country feel as this one. You will see that they drive the feel of each song based on the lyrics. Their music is very fun to diagnose and think about more than "that was good" type so many groups give. Nice reaction, I’m glad you gave them a chance. These guys are really good. They’re definitely Country, but they have the ability to do a lot of styles. A couple I recommend are Country Fried Pop Medley and Blue Ain’t Your Color. Those will give you a good idea of their range. Also, the video was filmed in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, just outside of Nashville, at least that’s where the dam is located.

I love how someone says they really don't like Country music and so everyone suggests she listen to them do more country music. This wasn't a Country music genre song and she still claimed it was country. So don't do Ring of Fire, don't do Man of Constant Sorrow and don't do Country Fried Pop Medley, At least not yet. Try any of these, I think they'll have less twang in them. lol. -I think you will grow to appreciate their vocal talent and then you can go back and listen to the songs above and the twang won't bother you as much. :) "End of the Road" cover of Boyz II Men "Love Train" cover of O'Jays "Helplessly Hoping" cover of Crosby, Stills and Nash (yeah I know these guys are in the Country genre but the song is different. "Auld Lang Syne" they make this old song sound very new "Mayday" - This is their own song and I put it last because it has a bit of a surprise in it.

Oh --- 1st to comment @ 721 views!!! --- LOL (must be the 1st Home Frie that has stopped by)... and yes -- only 5 members. Adam Rupp - beatboxer and founding member (#1 in the world) --- simply a FREAK. You said -- some low notes? ..... ahhh, kinda! The baritone/bass (Chance, the 2nd guy) was carrying the baseline on this one, very good. You said the 3rd - you liked... that's would be Mr Rob Lundquist - tenor. Not strong/ -- don't sell him short just yet; he can bring it in so many ways ( I say he doesn't get enough credit). It's what the song called for. 1st guy --- strong voice..... to say the least. That's Mr Tim Foust --- Amazing Super Bass with --- now get this... a 5 octave range (clean and clear) And last --- slim and long hair.... Austin Brown, high tenor - powerful, clean and smooth. I thoroughly enjoyed your reaction; facial expressions tell the story, and the comments confirm it. --- Home Free isn't just Country (just the only group that can do Country)... they do it all! Please react to more and give them a chance --- they deserve it. OH --- by the way... you are about to get bombarded (reacting to Home Free -- we love reactors!)

I've never been that much of a country gal, myself, but I LOVE Home Free. Try their Country Fried Pop Medley. It's basically 15 pop songs performed A Capella and with a country swang. It's awesome, even if you aren't a country fan. Other than that, I can only recommend what most have already recommended. Butts Remix, Can't Stop This Feeling, Try Everything, Fishing In The Dark/Boondocks mashup, Hunter Hayes Medley and Sold. I'd also recommed Mayday, but if you plan on doing more Home Free reactions, I suggest you save Mayday for later.

I was kind of raised on and appreciated country music but it went through some major changes in the last couple of decades that I didn't particularly like and I pretty much quit listening to it. That said, when I found Home Free my love of a capella led me to join their following. They haven't disappointed me. They are now my second favorite a capella group (PTX being first, of course). The lead singer on this one is Tim Foust and you haven't even begun to find his depth. He has a 5 octave range and his lowest bass is actually a little lower than PTXs Avi Kaplan and he can get up into a fairly high tenor. You didn't really see it in this video but the beat boxer, Adam Chance is insanely talented. Sometimes I think he is even a little bit better than Kevin so don't write them off without listening to a little more of them.

I never liked country music either, but I like this group. They are acapella and use a beatboxer so they don't have the twangy banjo sound. Most of their music is more upbeat than this song. This acapella group describes themselves as a country acapella group, but they are more than that. They take pop tunes and "country- fry" them, and take country songs and add beat to them. Check out Home Free's Cover of Ed Sheeran's "Castle On The Hill" next please. Avi Kaplan) They won the Sing Off one season after pentatonix (and got to meet ptx shortly before the final) they are doing very many country styled songs but also some things that arent country

Home Free is better described as country/pop. Most of their covers and originals are very upbeat faster songs and their videos are funny and charming. Most non-country fans (including myself) end up becoming very big fans of them. This is not the best song to start out with because it's not indicative to their usual style although it's very good. Most people start out with "Country Fried Pop Medly". If you're a big PTX fan then you should watch "Ring of Fire featuring Avi Kaplan". Some other good ones would be "Try Everything (Zootopia)" and "Can't Stop the Feeling" - those are more poppy. They have a way of transcending the country genre though - stripping it down to a base level where everyone can enjoy - mainly because they're so incredibly talented and likeable (they won season 4 of the Sing Off). Yes there's 5 of them: High Tenor (Austin - red hair), Low Tenor (Rob - beard - the one you thought had a pretty voice), Baritone/Bass (Adam "Chance" - silhouetted guy in the cap), Bass (Tim - one of the lowest basses in Acapella if not the lowest - he took the lead in this), and the Beatboxer ("Adam" Rupp) - he was doing the body percussion but he's one of the best beatboxers in the industry.

This song although very well done was not the best one to be introduced to them with. They have a lot of original songs and covers out there but I highly suggest you listen to the video of all their performances on the sing off. That’s how I found them. They have grown by leaps and bounds since then but it gives you an idea of how they started. You will also be amazed by the fan base you will acquire and the subscriptions you will gain if you start reacting to more Home Free. Welcome to the Home Fries club. I can’t wait to see your next reaction to them.

loved your reaction. I love Home Free because they are a contrast to Pentatonix and Voctave (my 3 favorite A cappella groups) and still deliver great harmonies. They also do fun stuff as well as serious. I hope you going to react to MAYDAY. God bless

Loved the reaction. Although Home Free are well known for being country they add a nice twist on their songs. They are really good. Also that first guy is Tim Foust he is their bass singer who can also sing stupidly high because that makes sense. Stay awesome

Ok, now you done did it. Prepare yourself for a litteral FLOOD of Home Free reaction requests, lol. Since you're not a big fan of Country Music, might I suggest their Butts Remix (kzread.info/dash/bejne/e3VkuaWcY9m6nNY.html ) and Country Fried Pop Medley (kzread.info/dash/bejne/Y6GA29ijhZrMYdY.html ). They are better suited for people who aren't necessarily "into" country music.

I think this is a very nice song, but it doesn't really show their potential. For example, the guy in the very beginning, Tim, is their bass. Although he has a very versatile voice, his ground shaking low notes can't be matched by many. Overall this music video is very nice, but doesn't really represent the band very well. I (and many others, I'm guessing) would love to see more!

Loved the reaction Nat, could I suggest Home Free - Ring of Fire? Its a Johnny Cash cover but features Avi from Pentatonix! It has some LOW notes! They do a lot of funny upbeat songs, they have a really good sense of humor and it makes the videos really enjoyable

Good honest reaction. Understand that country is not the genre of music that appeals to you so this group may not be one that you follow like PTX. That being said, there are two Homefree videos that you might enjoy: How Great Thou Art kzread.info/dash/bejne/poyF0qZ9k9W0Xdo.html (you really need to see the cinematography in this one) and The Butts Remix kzread.info/dash/bejne/e3VkuaWcY9m6nNY.html . Till the next time!

For cinematography, I agree, but I would also add "I can't outrun you". It's stunning with it's deep connection to the lyrics of the song. It is however a country song so maybe not to your taste.

There are only 5. The main/1st singer is the bass off the group (like Avi from PTX) and the 2nd is baritone. The guy doing the "clapping " is the beatboxer in thier other songs. (Have a listen to thier cover of Megan Trainer "All about that bass ")

Not the best song to start Home Free. I love them and they do a wonderful job here, but it's not me favorite song either. If you just can't find a place for country in your heart, you may never care for them. I suggest "The Butts Remix" and "Champagne Tastes" for a laugh. They also did a song with Avi from Pentatonix: "Ring of Fire".

Home Free are the country Pentatonix. They won The Sing Off the year after Pentatonix, and have walked a similar path, even down to replacing one band member who went off to find other opportunities. They're very good, but I've never gotten behind them to the level that I have Pentatonix.

You would be great at country. You have a really twangy voice. I'm serious. Record yourself and listen. Anyway, these guys are pro vocalists and they can turn off the country and give you opera if you want it. They bill themselves as country a capella because no one else is doing it. Being unique gets you noticed. A capella means without musical instruments.
