Great reaction, Adalis! It's almost impossible to explain this quality. I'd risk saying that it's a mixture of Godly talent, a keen intelligence for self-improvement, and a deep love for this art to put so much spontaneous effort into it.

You are not the only one to be "shocked" or moved , this rendition of the young Amira is one of the most wonderful and inspired whatever the period chosen in Her brilliant career..

Que hermosa reacción ! But I don't understand at all how Amira can sing with such an heavenly voice at this age. Maybe it is just the essence of music to reveal a wunderkind from time to time, Glenn Gould as a pianist or Amira Willighagen as a soprano... Como ha dicho Manuel de Falla, "la música no es sólo el arte más joven, sino tal vez el único cuyo ejercicio, si ha de ser eficaz, exige una completa juventud de espíritu". Amira, a la edad de 19 años, tiene todavia la misma espontaneidad... Pero su voz se ha vuelto mucho más potente.

Amira es una fiel creyente y además de lo mucho que avanzó y mejoro en técnica ya con clases, después de Holand's got talent, tiene un alma transparente y una pasión cuando canta que sorprende. Ojalá puedas reaccionar a "Nella fantasia" a los 12, "Flower Duet" con Corlea Botta y "Amazing Grace" creo que ahí tenía 13 años. "Sound of music" a los 15, "La vergine degli ángel" a los 16 y más recientemente "Gesu bambino" canta a capela en un video informal en una iglesia. Sigue con tu gran trabajo. Saludos desde México

You have a lot of amazing performances to catch up to Adalis. Subscribed & Liked! i have heard many comments about this Amira performance. This one by the Bangkok Vocal Coach sums her up well - from his closing remarks: “This is not normal, this is extraordinary; the phrasing, perfect pitch, vibrato, singing words in Spanish from memory, astonishing ability, composure to keep going, to be so self-assured, inspiration, confidence and then this Divine Light in her eyes. This is really exceptional and why this homemade cell phone video is more valuable than any production video you are going to see; it’s more reliable because there is no hiding, this is the truth. This is exactly unplugged, raw a little, a bit of mic, but the acoustic is great, her voice is terrific on those last phrases where she goes up to A, back to the F, up to A again, just so rock solid, so mature for an 11 yo, in tune, no straining. This for me is a life-changing video I will never forget watching this for the 1st time, because I now have a different perspective on talent, on gift! Maybe Amira won’t go on to be a singer when she grows up, she might want to be a microbiologist. In a way it doesn’t matter; what matters is that she’s given this to the world. It’s going to be with us forever and as she grows older, she’ll look back on it and maybe say, ‘Oh my goodness where did that voice come from.’”

She is Dutch, and also speaks English and Africaans. She doesn't speak Spanish but I believe she is singing in that language as it was written by William Gomez. I can't say how good it sounds, but knowing Amira, I'm sure it was understandable. In this performance she really connected with her uber spirit and downloaded from the heavenly realms. You can see the disconnect, when she has to wake up at the end. A marvellous process that produces magical sounds. It is stunning.
