"Who is Michael York?" - Who? I tell you "WHO" Michael York is : Michael York delivered one the greatest - if not THE BEST - soliloquy ever captured on film by an actor! That soliloquy was performed in the movie 'Jesus Of Nazareth', and he played John The Baptist. The scene where John The Baptist harangues King Herod from his prison cell in the dungeon is absolutely masterful! The movie had a cast that was bar none the "A-List" of true masters of the craft of acting and performance.....a must see if one has not, yet!
Logan, John the Baptist, d'Artagnon, and the list goes on. Michael York is one of my favorite English actors.

Wanted to send along best wishes to Michael York for what he is currently going through. He has always been one of my favorite actors and I was lucky to have had a chance to meet him in person when he appeared at the Ridge Theatre in Vancouver (1983) for a film he starred in and produced I believe. He is a gracious person and a first class actor.
He's so cultivated. He is such an inspiration. I wish him courage and fortitude during his ordeal.
Best of luck Michael! Don't let this awful disease attack you! You are greater than life. Please stay healthy!

iv'e always been amazed how young he's always looked, i mean he was 36 when he did logans run and he looked mid to early 20's.

some a very lucky like this. My father always looked ten years younger than his usual "age."
He voiced Petrie's uncle Pterano in the Land before time 7.
He looks great !!!
