I made the original version of this vid ( • [OLD VERSION] The Day ... ) quite a while ago, when my channel was first getting off the ground and I was still editing in Windows Movie Maker LOL. Since then vid has proved popular yet I cringe whenever I look back on it, so I decided it was time to overhaul it and bring it up to my current editing standards. As far as technical fixes, the footage is now all HD and cropped the same thank the lord, and I also re-did all of the audio so that you can actually, you know, hear what people are saying. As far as creative fixes, not only is the editing smoother but I also added or changed a few scenes to make things flow better, inserted new parallels I found and highlighted emotional beats better. For those of you who complained with the first vid that I didn’t include the Fitzsimmons drop into the ocean, well, you’re welcome, I found a spot for it now. I also have a couple of other new surprises, especially more parallels that I thought were especially poignant. Thanks for all the love on the older version, I’m glad you all loved it so much, and I hope you enjoy this updated version!

Agents of SHIELD tied into the movie, and the shocking discovery of Hydra's emergence and characters’ betrayals was played out on a much more deeply personal level than in the movie. The way that The Winter Soldier and Agents of SHIELD tied together in the disbelief and horror of character's brainwashing or betrayal was heartbreaking and extremely well-done, and I wanted to capture that here. i feel like for me, aos showed the emotional side of the fall. the movie showed the power side of the fall. and then when i thought they were moving on from the fall of shield, aos gives the episode with hartley and bobbi and mack and guiterrez in the ship and i was like holy shit, that opened a gate of hurt. also, i feel like it would have been nice to put in the scene in aos where they were leading so so many people out in handcuffs. and trip yelling at garrett...like garrett killed trip's whole team.
I still miss Agents of Shield. One of the first MCU projects i've ever seen next to Avengers, Iron Man 1, and Captain America 1 at that time.
My favourite Marvel movie and my favourite show ever (AoS is the best) in one edit. I love this so much
The High Point of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. By the way, I think it's cool that you had added those Season 2 flashbacks with Mack and Bobbi.

Now This is Epic. Love these Edits. I am a Huge AOS/MCU Fan, and I still remember the old one. These sort of things excite me because they help connect the dots in these universes.

@@SobaOfPulaskiWell because of Daredevil officially being declared canon in the MCU that means Agents of Shield is canon. Why? Because Luke Cage met Daredevil in The Defenders and the Judas Bullets created to kill Luke Cage were used against The Patriots who also has super strength in Season 4 of Agents of Shield.
Really great vid! The Bucky & Ward parallels are so good.
You're amazing I've always wanted to do a video like this. Have the AoS episodes and the Marvel movies just don't have the tools and frankly the skill

@@bensenzo I use Vegas Pro 15, though before that I was using Lightworks (which is what I edited this video with). If you want a rundown on various editing software r/VideoEditing on Reddit is a good place to start :)

This is so good. Certainly well done. The only thing I would criticize is the audio.

This is perfect you did an incredible job.
I wish I found this video sooner. An amazing job editing this. It helped inspire my second Agents of Shield/Clone Wars crossover story War for Mandalore.
I'll never forget watching The Winter Soldier in the cinemas and wondering "what's gonna happen on Agents of SHIELD?!"

That was a special time. Agents of Shield is my #1 favorite Marvel TV Show and it's better than Daredevil. I hope the characters show up again in the MCU. Until then I'll be working on my Agents of Shield/Star Wars The Clone Wars fan fiction.

The fall of shield is marvel biggest mistake shield is one of the most powerful organizations in the MCU Hydra would been seperate from shield

I would like to add one little criticism. I would have liked to see one or two scenes featuring Fury and Alexander Pierce. The latter had been Fury's mentor.
What episode did Sky see Bucky Barns name on the wall? Or was that a deleted scene or edited. Cuz I don’t remember that part.

Remember the episode they sent Ward and Fitz alone on a mission, Skye hacked in the HQ with help of Jemma. I think it's end of that episode but it's not edited she really said his name and everything.
