It was just fun. At the time, it was the widest that I had hauled. Plus, who doesn't love police running people off the roads and giving you the clear to run every red light?! Lol.

Nicely done. I've had a trooper escort a couple times hauling some 16 wide loads through la. It sure is nice to see those disco lights through the windshield instead of the mirror for something different!

I’m curious how much have them 3 axles on truck cuts into your turning radius I drive a truck with 3 drive axles but can lift front one.

The trailer did not budge with the 1st 14K white box nor the rear box.....It would drive me nuts not being able to look in the mirrors do you run with those extension mirrors haven't seen then on your truck.Dang thats a wide load..... It takes about 90,000lbs to take the bow out of that trailer... No, we don't use mirror extensions. At that width, you have to trust your pilot cars.

Ohhh I know where you went. I pass there all the time delivering in Lithia Springs. That's the strangest dang building and I can't figure out what in the world it is. The plot thickens! Haha. Awesome video as usual sir!

It's a Google data center. One give a way is from the ariel, you can see all of the air conditioners around the perimeter of the building. www.google.com/about/datacenters/inside/locations/douglas-county/

Yea, I knew the parking lot seemed to be connected to the Google Data Center, but this building looks way different. This building has thick concrete walls and virtually no windows, plus it has two pipes coming out the first floor and going up to the roof, capped off almost like you see oil wells burning off extra gas or something. It's weird.

I believe the reason the buildings look different is because the original larger building was adapted to be a data center, whereas the new building that's being constructed is purpose-built. The two pipes are for the air conditioning. I worked on another project that was a frozen warehouse for a food distributor and then had an ammonia based cooling system with appear to be the same piping, as well as the big fans on the southeast side of the building. It's pretty epic stuff they have going on.

Hearing the truck is MUCH better than the music.

stew stewart They book an escort with said state and they either square up and pay them at the end of the haul or or up front. I'm pretty sure that the permits are completely different department and paid separately. When it comes to civilian escorts I'm pretty sure they are paid up front. I've heard that getting into the escort business is very profitable... Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not a driver myself just a loyal viewer and have asked the same question myself.

This load was so long ago that I can't really remember. The Houston motorcycle constables we paid cash on the spot for. The GSP escort was billed through Landstar then taken from our cut of the load. Each state varies on how you pay them. Some are upfront, some are indirectly billed. All are expensive.
