If all honesty, I find it more heart breaking as the player is trying so hard to deny their character's fate, in hopes that something differently would happen. But to no avail. I think it adds more tragedy to a pokepasta (or any creepypasta) if the stuff that happens in the cursed games were to effect the protagonist's real life in some way. It probably wouldn't work with EVERY story but it does feel like a nice touch of hopelessness.

My interp: One day Gold went too far in a battle and either killed or grievously harmed Silver. He tried getting Celebi's help (to time travel back to when Silver wasn't a pink mist), but they wouldn't do it. So he caught them and went to Ho-oh, because Ho-oh is said to bring eternal happiness to whoever sees it. Clearly that didn't work out, as it toasted Celebi (blasting it in half and scarring its skin pink) and booted Gold into purgatory.

I think this goes well, but silver is kinda irrelevant on this creppypasta (this doesnt apply on the alt route.) I prefer thinking Gold was trapped in the purgatory because killing a legendary pokemon its a crime that is unforgiveable.

all these interpitations about "celebi getting fireblasted by ho-ho" I dont see how celebi was toasted by hoho as it was cut in two halves, still bleeding, cause fire stops bleeding and all that medical nonsense. But let me see the new ending. Edit: Never mind that onion got fucking incinerated.

My interpretation of the second alt route: Silver is at fault of what happened to Gold By rearranging the Unknowns to say: "Died he (Or Did he?)" we enter said alternative route. Later, after the puzzles we see how the unknowns spell "Die". We are brought to Bellsprout Tower afterwards, where the old man says the same things he says to Silver. Before the battle with Silver we see the Houndoom now on our team (Forever, as he was nicknamed) learning Nightmare and trash (and we receive a Totodile, Silver's canon starter). This makes me believe that Gold isn't actually dead (not yet) or in purgatory, but he is stuck inside a coma after something happened to him. When Silver appears he says "Welcome back" and the Unknowns he has on his team spell "sorry". After we win we can see Silver's sprite mutilated just as Gold's What does this mean? That Silver is probably at fault for what happened to Gold and feels guilty about what he has done. We see all this people telling Gold to make them proud at the city, a lot of people support him and want him to succeed. Why wouldn't Silver be jealous of Gold when he has everyone to support him and Silver doesn't? The events of Lost Silver are actually a nightmare Gold is having inside his coma... When the text "Celebi wants to end this" appears it's actually Gold that wants to end his own personal hell. The sign saying "he awaits" when brought to the sacred tower probably means that death itself is waiting for Gold. The end of the game is Gold finally being freed from his nightmare when he finally dies. He didn't recover from what Silver did to him. (I got really excited when I saw the game was remade with more content, sorry if my English is off :))

The broken incoherence, the jumping from left to right across broken landscapes, his many possibilities which don’t end in any way but his death, I imagine this is gold’s mind in the least moments of his life, dying of dementia/Alzheimer’s. It doesn’t matter if he gives up, turns back, tries to deny it, etc. he can’t stop his brain from tearing itself apart as he’s shown horrible stitched abominations of his memories and emotions. Whether he gives up and accepts death to get away from his torment, or he suffers to try to live, it doesn’t matter, he’s too far gone, and he ultimately passes away, hopefully leaving behind a legacy of caring family.

I've been struggling for a little bit to understand the story now with the new additions, but what I *think* is happening is: Gold is being tormented by the Unown for getting Celebi killed/gravely injured by Ho-oh. Celebi is associated with time travel, and there seems to be a bit of that going on here, demonstrated by things like Gold descending from Mt. Silver and his Typhlosion disappearing only to immediately be replaced with a freshly hatched Cyndaquill, plus all the walking backwards creating the impression of time being reversed. In the scrambled Ilex Forest, at multiple points it seems like you can choose different paths, but in reality they just dump you back to the beginning. Gold can spend a lot of time going in loops, but in the end, the only real path leads to his grave. The Unown are giving Gold the false hope that he can go back and fix things, but it's futile; he can't *really* go back in time because of what he let happen to Celebi. Granted I don't know where things like the Houndoom and fights with Silver fit into the theory, but this is the best I have so far.

In the og one, pikachus face looks more sad, while in this one he looks disinterested, i think if they fixed the expression you can capture how upset and scared that pikachu in the og looked. Other than that great game

It's nice to see people are still adding more to the creepy pasta of "Pokemon Lost Silver: Hidden", love this

All of the new paths are stuff that were retroactively added to the creepypasta its self by its original author back in 2012, but ultimately has been very obscure information on the internet. Re: Lost Silver was also made by the same guy who made the original fangame.

The thing about the creepypasta was that it resembles how the trainers in each game get replaced by the next generation. For the first chunk of the game, you play as Silver from Johto, who eventually dies. Gold from Hoenn is next, and yet still retains the Unown and Cyndaquil Silver had. On the other hand, you’ll notice your character loses more of his body as you play on, alongside the ever-increasing badges and play time. In the end, you’re buried in a inescapable space, with the famous IMDEAD sentence spelled out by the Unown. The entire creepypasta, set aside the paragraph, was made to tell us that no matter what Gold/Silver does, he eventually dies like all mortal things do, and is then left to be forgotten by the time the next generation is made.

Maybe everyone spotted it already, but in the "ruins" route, the unown puzzles spell the word "LOST"...

Nice how all of these old creepypastas being remastered, An absolute blast from the past!

Nice to see you play this, though you did also miss one other secret path. It's not too much a secret path though since it's very short, but basically you have to do all the other secret paths before this (like the alternate route, rearranging the unowns for the graveyard section, and interacting with the long red pillar to do that section), and then go to the void area, which is when you become transparent, on the way down to meeting red in the void there should be a new random tile on the map that wasn't there before, and you can go east on that tile. I won't spoil what actually happens, but it's kinda cool.

Crazy theory, but maybe all this is a representation of Alzheimer’s. Think about it. Gold is an old man forgotten and alone. His mind is in the last stages of falling apart. I like the part that as you move you feel gold is always being watched and also the game gives you a feeling that world is better off without you.

This is the biggest glow up im glad to see this creepypasta game get remastered the spritework and endings are amazing

Normal ending: Main character and Cyndaquil die, therefore able to see other ghosts, and all other characters die Alternate ending: Main character finds a path to a mountain where Gold is, Cyndaquil evolves, leaves its egg, and escapes. His sister drowns. After his ghost travels through the region, he sees Gold dead. After travelling some more, he then has to relive the experience again and again. New ending: The main character mourns Cyndaquil's loss with a Houndoom. He then kills himself, his ghost going to the Unown ruins. (to be continued)

I like the update to the graphics to where everyone looks more like zombies.

Yeah, Gold and Celebi's love story is better than Twilight.

My theory is that thr UNOWN shown him something and it made him realize nothing is real. He then uses Pokemon but not with his heart, as tools of war. He dies with his mind scrambled and LOST. His soul is left to wander FOREVER. The reason the game keeps telling us to GO BACK is because it's aware.

Pretty much,if i remember right the way he(Silver,i think,not Gold) dies is also by the Unowns, they're killing him for the death of Celebi or whatever. There is a lot more to this with Gold, with getting forgotten even after becoming the very best,but i don't really know that much about that.

I have a theory. When Gold winned the League, he captured Celebi and(with all people trusting and suporting him), go try capturing Ho-Oh, but, because of his arrogance, he use Celebi to battle Ho-Oh first. This caused Ho-Oh burning Celebi and just half of the body stained intact. Because of the shock, Gold run and see, all pokemon are war machines, they can kill and destroy things easily. With this in the mind, he continued his journey, founding Silver on the path. With his new "mind" he acidentally kill Silver and all of his pokemon, with only Feraligt resting(who had nightmares about with), the unowns saying "sorry" in silver battle, represent what Gold wanted to say. Gold continued, and go to mount silver encounter Red. Now, i have two versions: -If Lost silver and snow on mount silver are connected or not If is connected: Gold keep going to Red, even if all of his pokemon die, until, he encounter Red, the battle goes identical, until all pokemon die and Gold see Red is already death. With this allucinations, Gold see Celebi corpse, who came to kill him with destiny bond. And the lost silver creppypasta is the vision before death of Gold life, but twisted. Now if they were not connected: Gold to the same he did to Silver to Red, and with the snow in his body, Gold die of hyporthemia.

Fun fact: This is after the events of Mount Silver, Pikachu ate off Gold’s limbs and left eye, with him being dead, and all of his limbs removed it all revolves to his look now.

At the end, Ho-Oh (the ashes ending explain it) kill them (with Sacred Fire) when him try to capture it with Celebi. Try to face Ho-Oh was a huge mistake for Gold, since is a powerfull Pokemon and Sacred Fire is a dangerous fire skill (with burning effect too).

Well, with the secret path when it shows the map hideously corrupted with no rhyme or reason, itmmakes it very possible this is him dying throughout the whole game. It's basically the life flashes before your eyes when you die thing. It starts pretty stable, but eventually his perception of reality collapses as his mind fades from his mortal form, revolving with inevitably admitting his death and resting.

while this is a lost silver creepypasta I kind of gives me a theory on why MX and Lord X(and other exes) torture others, because they are in some sort of purgatory of their own (trapped within a video game), and they want to break free. and then they take it out on others. (sorry if I’m wrong spam as many clown and skull emojis as you please, but it’s just a theory, a GAME THEORY)

@@samdrawingonflipaclip2585 That's the second time you go through Goldenrod, when everyone is tinted white. But when all of the characters are without eyes but with normal colors, they seem to say something different. The first time you go through Goldenrod, the first 3 letters you see are "DIW".

A lot of it is up to interpretation on how some things occur. Though there are some themes of it, like Browser mentioned. And there's also the themes of forgotten and a false sense of hope I suppose? For the path where you fight HO-OH.

Why do ppl call him Gold? It's Ethan. what? So now every protagonist Is called After the game like Red and Blue? So now Brendan and May (gen 3 protagonists) are called Ruby and Saphire?

@@BaconBroer For the first 2 generations, the names are based on the first default name selection. With further credence from the Pokemon Adventures Manga which names the Gen 1 Protagonist Red, the rival Blue/Green (depending on region), then the Gen 2 Protag Gold and Rival Silver, then the female trainer from crystal being named Kris as a shortening of Crystal. Most call the pre remake designs of protagonists by those names rather than names like Ethan. Ethan was given as a name in HGSS for if the player chose the female protag, similar to May or Brenden in Gen 3, as they hadnt had official game names up to that point, the female protag of HGSS being officially named Lyra. Also fun fact, the Pokemon Adventures manga does in fact call Brenden and May, Ruby and Sapphire respectively.

I know my biggest goal now learn how to write the entire unknown alphabet since I'm home schooled might as well do something even this might take me a while and this will be fun
