Rdr2 has probably one of the best explorations and sense of adventure of any rockstar games,it was a nice improvement from gta 5 Even if I have some problems with the gameplay in general I totally respect the experience of exploring the game, expecialy in the first play

This game has wild west action, romance, adventure, sci fi, comedy, horror, history, and drama at the same time. It's a masterpiece.

Also, the phrase on the map also refers to Herbert, as you inscribed: if you get a documentary from his body it will tell that a Strange Man offered Herbert a choose - if he'll have a two generations or a happiness. As he chossen the two generations, his daughter had married a jew (Moon was anti-semtic), so he never was happy

I had the lowest honor when playing as Arthur and when I visited his grave for the first time as John, a black wolf was sitting by his grave and ran into the forest once I got closer, symbolizing the visions that Arthur would get. I just thought it was a great detail to add!

@@tailsbread I used to go on killing rampages in other "Grand Theft Auto" games. Nowadays while playing "RDR2" I only aim my gun at those who aim their guns at me.

When I found that gorilla again recently on another playthrough, I shortly beforehand bumped into one of the many inexplicably hostile NPCs who tried to murder me for doing nothing more than walking past him and sharing his oxygen. So after I killed him, I looked down the hill and saw the gorilla. "Perfect!" I thought, "I'll frame the gorilla!" Legend has it, his corpse still lies under the primate's idle, pummeling fists, and the police are still trying to piece together what happened.

I sat down with my food ready to watch a show/movie but ended up watching this instead. It just goes to show how amazing this game is with its storytelling and how dense this game is cause I didn’t even come across half of this in my play through. Huge credit to the channel for compiling everything together like this!

I try not to rush into any main story missions until I've done a bunch of other stuff so I don't rush through the game. I try to talk to everyone in camp so they can give me information or things to do or sidemissions. Since I'm trying to get all the collectibles I watch some people like gta series videos. That channel has the dinosaur, dreamcatcher, etc locations. There are some things you just wont find without help like finding the treasures on the treasure maps. I'm only on chapter 4 right now since I'm still taking my time.

1:19:56 - Pro Tip: Don’t loot behind the picture with Arthur! (Ideally do this encounter right before the last mission) but leave all your loot there, Arthur gives anything he has away at the end anyway. If you need some money after just fence a gold bar, I’m sure you can find one easy. Then in the epilogue as John go back and collect a nice chunk of change to start your play as John.

23:27 That’s nightfolk, they can often be encountered at night, rarely ever in day, their traps use human emotions and dead bodies to lure their pray in, they can even sneak up on you if you’re walking on-foot, they set traps for you to get off your horse to kill you, machete nightfolk are alongside others who can one shot you, 1 out of 4, really; Vampire, Hermit, and Sheriff Freeman (Tumbleweed Sheriff) They’re voodoo-like freaks wielding bows, machetes, knives, and hatchets, they come from the Bayou, and Bluewater Marsh, using the trees as advantage to set traps, they wear rotten and ripped up clothing, both Arthur and John get freaked out by this, sometimes they’ll make your horse agitated to knock you off and go for the kill, my recommendation of avoiding them is go in daytime, even if they appear, it would be less often you’d encounter them

Oh I think I found those earlier today actually! I was in the swamps and I got off my horse to investigate a hung man on a tree, then three guys with knives jumped out. I only had a pistol on me, so it didn’t go too great lol Edit: wait no, I’m just an idiot. It was the hangman trap mentioned later in the video lol, I died mainly because I play high honour (because essentially I’m probably too soft for this game lol) so I tried to just knock them out or something, and only realised I had to fight after I was mostly dead lol.

Like the outhouse girl, she clearly was born with some type of birth defect visibly and probably had other issues along with it. I'm guessing with little knowledge, that was easier for whomever to do with her still it's cruel.

I finished RDR2 months ago and I'm STILL finding new stuff. The detail Rockstar put in this game is simply ridiculous. Easily one of the best games I've ever played.

I mean at the time it was understandable, the most educated family during the 1800s probably knew less than a modern day 5th grader. So it was either them getting locked up or killed (if not by their own family then by someone else) Not so much excusable in today's world tho

there’s also a hint to stay away from there if u run into a guy camping he offers u to sit by the fire with him and he tells u the story of how a couple who ran a pig farm offered him to come inside but his gut told him not too and when he leaves some one tells him to stay away from there

There was always something unsettling about each each of the different areas in the game. Could be the lonilness of Arthur by himself on his travels, or the fact that someone or something was watching him

The Clawson's rest cabin got to me pretty hard when I saw it. Especially seeing the "practice your reading and writing" part. I hear my mom tell that to my little siblings all the time. Felt too familiar.

The dark ,disturbing side of human nature as well as comedic elements and just about anything else you can think of are captured in this very imaginative, cleverly made game.

Honestly I think the open world is the best part of this game. The story and characters are amazing, don’t get me wrong, but the mission structure and controls are issues I just cannot look past. The most fun you can have in this game is to just play it in short bursts, just wandering around the beautifully crafted environments and seeing all there is to see.

Arthur lived a short life but damn if it wasn’t an interesting one

there is no way in a million years would i have found any of these, if not for us living in the golden age of the internet i would not have known how much this game is jam packed

This game isn’t just a Wild West game. It’s got horror and mystery which really fits in. Especially with the places in lemoyne like the swamp and the ghosts. The ghosts in this game have very interesting back stories. Like that couple in annesburg and that ghost lady in the swamp. From what I know from seeing the strange man’s video, the ghost lady had a secret relationship with a rich guy while she was a maid in his house and when her baby daddy’s family found out, they killed her and her child.

One thing Ive always found absolutely fascinating about this game is that you can spend weeks/month ignoring the missions and exploring and you can find neat shit like this all the time. This game always had a fun little morbid feel. But it really DID put me in this wondrous thought of what life must have been in those times.

I’ve spent months postponing Micah’s rescue, hunting and doing sidequests and basically anything that isn’t saving Micah 😅 My most recent mission is getting the white arabian horse, but I saw it once when I first arrived at the spot and then never again after several hours :/

Amazing video man hella patience

I fell in love with this game and didn't want to finish it, so I played it for almost a year until I finally decided to complete the story line. It blows my mind that I haven't even seen half these stuff in this video.

I remember finding the UFO cult house by accident when it was night time in game and in real life and I just about shit my pants seeing that in a western game

"We ain't done nothing wrong" as the ghost train passed gave me a slight shiver

It’s like I want to stop watching so I can come across them myself! I remember finding the giants bones up in the mountains. That feeling of coming across something like that is so fun!
