Song from Saveri wali Gaadi is one of my all time favourite.

Such versatility we can never imagine. Only geniuses possess this. And sadly we couldn't appreciate his talent. Now that he's gone we realise a gem is no more amongst us.

He not only is the most heard , appreciated, decoded by hundreds of musicologists but today we are understanding his genius . On his 81st birthday, I lost count on the number of online functions and tributes and that too 26 years after his demise. He also has influenced an entire generation of composers . He is in one simple word, Immortal

Both versions are equally good of kudrat movie song now second thing i love panchamji's bengali songs and yeh zindagi kuch bhi sahi was very softly sung by RD sir. And din pyaar ke god damn i loved playing it on my keyboard. Keep it up sir

Nice song collection! Love the Savere wall gaadi Lata number - what a gem! Too bad it didnt do well. So many such songs get lost when the movie tanks :(. Nicely narrated Mohinder Ji!

well one more song panchamda sang in his own voice was from khel khel mein .. a duet with ashaji.. picturised on rajesh roshan and aruna irani... sapna mera toot gaya.. his orginal voice is just awesome.. of course like you say most of his voice in most of the bengalis songs are original voice... and if you listen to Naadir Pore ... we all pancham fans will be thrilled in delight.. what a voice.. its a rabindra sangeet if i am correct and rendition was just awesome...

Panchamda recorded many songs in his original voice.. hear any song from Mahaan, Pukar or even Khel Khel Mein for eg. So it is not that you have to hear his Bangla compositions. Secondly, the last song you featured, the female voice seems to be of Asha tai and not Lata Didi.

Kedar Ji, I think in the video Mohinder Ji says that 'Dekho Ye Kaun' is in Asha Tayee's voice. The Lata-Ji song was the previous one (Din Pyar Ke)

Just show me any other music director apart from RAHUL DEV BURMAN who made his presence in this four point mentioned below. 1. Kishore Kumar who was not a trained classical singer with him he recorded "mere Naina sawan bhado" based on raag shivranjani,then " jane Kya soch kar nahi gujra", don't forget that time it was single take not like today that you can sing a single word. 2. Made song in each & every possible way in music possible. 3. Out side musical instruments produce music with cold drink bottle,polish paper and other thing 4. Introduce many musical instruments in our music likes flenzer,paddle matka. I challenge just show me another music director that's include regional music director who matched all this 4 points I will agree pancham is not unique,but with prove please.🙏
