Amazing video. Gorgeous car. Apparently, I heard the removal of the shock tower brace was more of a cost saving move in the face of rising inflation. It was removed alongside the memory seats and ambient lighting. TVD was also removed as an option. They are made of aluminum and cost quite a bit. However, RCF does not really need them as they add very little to the overall rigidity, which is why they removed them. The chassis already is extremely stiff for GT3 racing with all of the rigidity baked into the chassis and to me feels more than twice as stiff as my 2019 IS350 F-Sport chassis, which has quite a bit of torsional flex in it. From a fellow RCF owner, congratulations on this amazing beast.

Hey what's up!! Thanks for watching the entire video and this comment. Makes sense they were saving money with all that stuff removed. One thing I really miss on this car that I forgot to mention was the auto reverse mirror tilt. I asked the dealer about it and researched the parts diagram to find out they removed the extra motor used to tilt the mirror in reverse for the TE's! Toyota is a confusing brand sometimes. Love the TE very much and you got an awesome RCF too! I watched some of your videos lol.

@@j168vlogs Oh yeah. I see. Was not aware of the auto tilt. I believe, the steering adjustment is also manual in TE. Glad you really like your TE. It is a great car indeed and will be following your progress. If you are seeking more rigidity, you can always get the RR Racing bracing, but I already feel the chassis is rigid enough and does not need more. Once you add RR Racing bushings, it adds a bit more stiffening of the front end, which I have. It is sometimes bone crunching going fast over a bump so I don't feel like switching over the RR Racing bracing.

@@2ZZGE100 Awe dude, I thought all RCF's had manual tilt steering wheels. Bummer, they really cut costs on this car lol. The TE project should be a relatively simple build since it already came with all the CF parts and a CCBBK I was dreaming about since this car came out in 2020. If there are any leftover 2024's still sitting on dealership lots in 2025, I actually may get another one if the price is right.

@@j168vlogs Very cool. I guess, the auto tilt and telescopic steering as well as heated and cool seats delete was part of the weight shaving program for the TE. That is really cool that you might pick up a second RCF possibly for the right price. Will be following your channel. Cheers!

REAL GT3 car! Amazing spec man! Thats what I love about this car. I have a blackline 350... RCF when I'm ready, hope to get any 2020 up in the future, stock market pending haha

Hey what's up! It's actually not offered as an option but a publicly imposed regulation for cars in Guam and Hawaii. I was actually not sure if Lexus corporate would even sell me the extra parts but I think it's a pretty low demand item that was warehoused too long. Made me happy!! Lol
