Nice set-up you have;.. I had the same set-up for bench once upon a time THANKS for the video response, its nice seeing what others do in their work area, others need to follow suit. Just like you, I saved wax toilet replacements in case i need to make my own sticks, along with some candles. Thanks again MIKE..

Your very welcome Fuzz! I'd like to video more in my loading room but it's just not set up well for that and the lighting is bad. haha , I always have lots of projects & hobbies on the go, shooting/reloading season is just getting started up here on Vancouver Island, BC., now that the fire season/drought is on hold. Have a great day! Mike.

Woohoo!!❤❤ If you tempered those bits. You should be able to file them round on a drill motor or drill Press. If need be re harden them.

They are hard to file, I used a drill press but it's a lot of work! haha, sooner or later I'll get around to it. Thanks CW.

Yep, they are way to hard to file even in a drill, it's just a matter of getting around to it. It is important though because they do get stuck and it's a blind hole, if they break and a piece gets stuck it's no good.@@cw2a

Marc, in the "Pre-Powder Coating" days the cost of the Sizer/Luber was a stumbling block for a lot of people. They were and still are very expensive, sizing dies are also really costly. If you run across one at a gunshow for cheap then grab it. They will still do a great job and it's easy to size and lube a few bullets for testing instead of setting up for a batch of powder coating. The key thing is to find a Sizer/Luber, with a heater and as many dies as you can get for a good deal. Topping off the dies to increase the versatility is the key and still pretty pricey. I got mine for $40 I think.

It's been "In Progress for a few years now" haha, It might be a while. Dies are expensive and the budget for this hobby is on standby until all this "Ban the Guns" BS comes to a stop! The recent court ruling dropped on Canadians was basically "You don't have the right to own property in Canada", "The government can take from you with no payment anything it wants , when it wants". It is being appealed but by then most of the guns and most of the hobby will be gone forever.

Craig, these old bullet sizer/lubers are still functional but dies are very expensive, they also need a heater to be of real use. Powder coating is the way to go now unless you can get one of these with heater and a full set of dies for cheap at a gunshow. They are really nice tools if you prefer traditional lube though.

O-rings shouldn't be to hard to get. This is a long term project anyway. One of those "If it ever sees the light of day" types! haha. Firewood cutting is big business up here on the coast, everybody has to stock up for winter. I see the trucks driving by the house to deliver almost everyday. Thousands and thousands of logs get loaded on ships a few times a week right here where I live. Hope you're having a good one. Mike.

Hello James! With the success of powder coating it's not really needed anymore. It wouldn't surprise me if they are discontinued soon, they can't be selling that well these days, they are way to costly.
